This is a fantastic book with a wealth of information
This is a fantastic book with a wealth of information, indeed much of it hidden. Edited by Nancy Deihl, who herself contributes a chapter, it is filled with excellent accounts of careers, many of which have been forgotten. April Callahan's chapter on Tina Leser, Jan Glier Reeder's chapter on Jessie Franklin Turner, and Daniel James Cole's chapter on Sandra Garratt are only a few of the real gems in this book. Excellent for college reading, but excellent simply for the fashion enthusiast who wants to learn more about the industry, and go beyond the usual textbook coverage.
