Mister Magnolia Paperback – July 9, 2010

Mister Magnolia loves children, life, music, and so much more. However he is missing a shoe and cannot seem to find another one. This is a happy story written in rhyme inviting the reader to participate in the adventure of finding a shoe for his other foot.

My kids love this book, it has everything their world encompasses, a scooter, birds, music, owls, frogs, and a dragon...it is very well thought and the illustrations are beautiful.

Cute book. Fun pictures that my 3 yr old loves to look at and count the children or birds or objects. It makes him laugh that his boots don't match in the end. Very short book, but fun.

My kids loved this book as toddlers and now I have a new copy for my infant grandson. Just a timeless tale and great illustrations.

The rhymes are very funny. And my kid loved it from the first time.This author has great books and he won a very prestigious child book award.The drawings are also very funny.

I'm a teacher and my name is Mr. Magnolia. I love this book. It's written and illustrated by Quentin Blake who is most well known for his illustrations for Roald Dahl. I wish I could get a hard cover version.

My 2 year old got this from the library and loves it so much, i had to buy it. Though i didnt realise that "mini treasures" was going to mean a teeny book!!! Will be ok to take out in her/my bag, but think we need a bigger size one too :/Fantastic book and great pictures. A real favourite that is read daily in our house!!I have to knock some stars off, as after 4 days, the pages started falling out :(

I think I was more bowled-over with nostalgia at seeing Quentin Blake illustrations than my toddler was taken by this book.He asks for it occasionally but not riveting

Nothing to dislike. Classic children's book

The book arrived on time for the birthday, and is as much fun this time round.

I liked this book at school at got it for my 18mo son, its fast become a firm favoruite in the top 3 rotated bedtime stories and has prompted a keen interest in wearing my boots! Fab rhyming pattern with silly themes, love mr magnolia wearing one boot in the water park! I expect this to be excellent value for money as it should still appeal in years to come as sense of humour matures. Off to buy some more quentin blake books now!

Love this book. Was going to dress up as Mr Magnolia last years book week but couldn't find any yellow trousers, disappointed.I'm a T.A and read this book to the children and liked it so much I had to buy it. I love the ending the best, because he does find a boot but it doesn't match his other one, but he wears it anyway.

My fault it was second hand but a little more well used than other second hand books but still a wonderful story and pictures.

This arrived in excellent condition and on expected day. This was always my children’s favourite when they were tiny. Now my grandchildren can also enjoy it! Thank you

This was my favorite book as a child and I still have my original copy. I bought this for my niece and hope she loves it as much as I do.

My childhood favourite which my daughter now loves so I bought this one as a present for a friend's new baby. Fantastic illustrations and rhyming story - we love Mr. Magnolia!

...and if the headline doesn't ring a bell with you then there is something lacking in your life - and the life of your children. This is a classic to bring joy to any bed-time reading with children. Its crazy rhymes will stay with them (and you) forever.

Love the random rhyming!

One of the greats of literature for young children. It took a while to come but is well worth it. Highly recommended for 9 months + by this former children's librarian, now Granny.
