Fluker's Ceramic Heat Emitter, Natural Infrared Heating Bulb for Reptiles, 60 Watt

This bulb is awesome! It lasted me over a year and never failed to heat properly.

This Che has worked well, gives off steady heat and has lasted a while. Keeps my bearded dragons 120 gallon tank from getting too chilly in the winter.

I use this for my older lovebird after reading many different forums and articles on heating lamps for birds. She originally had an infrared light but it cast a strong red light that might lead to eye issues or blindness (it is very difficult to find a general consensus on this, but I didn’t want to risk it). She loves her heat lamp and it helps a lot with her general wellness, she has a large flight but chooses to sit right in front of the warmth so it was really important to me to find a safe option for her. This particular lamp doesn’t use Teflon or anything similar, and being ceramic it doesn’t cast a light obviously so that eye issues are avoided. Honestly, it was very difficult and tedious to finally find a safe option for her but I feel much more confident with this lamp than the others. It’s also been carried in bird stores that are very specific about what kind of products they bring in, and their general safety. So yes, definitely would buy this again for her and feel relieved she can have her warmth for arthritis and everything else it really seems to help her with. I definitely recommend ceramic over anything that casts a light for birds and Fluker’s does not use Teflon so again, huge relief. Have been using for months without issue. Thank you.

I've had it on all the time and it's lasted a while now. Haven't come across any issues.
