Very good monitor for the price
If you are looking for a high end monitor that is perfect, keep looking. But if you are looking for a solid performing all-around monitor that supports Thunderbolt3 and doesn't cost a small fortune, you've found the right one. This monitor is relatively new to the market and I took a chance buying it without a lot of information or reviews available. Safe to say I'm satisfied with my purchase. Do I wish the colors were more accurate? Yes. Do I wish it powered my laptop via the Thunderbolt3 connection? Yes. But for the price... hard to really complain. So if you are looking for a Thunderbolt3 monitor that will allow you to connect USB accessories (and audio) to the monitor instead of your laptop and you don't mind still having to connect a power cable to your machine -- this is a really good buy.I've posted a picture showing my MacBook Pro (2018) compared to the monitor. I calibrated the monitor based on a tech blog's recommendation but found that their calibration was WAY to dim so I had to raise the brightness. This monitor is VERY bright if you want it to be. Increasing the brightness though comes at an expense in some color loss.It really isn't fair to compare it against my MacBook Pro, which, let's admit, is a far superior display. But hopefully the picture helps those of you on the fence decide if the compromise is worth it or not. For what I use my monitor for (mostly work) it does the job.A couple of last minute notes...• You must buy an actual Thunderbolt3 cable. Don't plug in a USB-C and then get annoyed it doesn't work. It's a TB monitor!• I do not have a second TB monitor so I have not personally tested this monitor's ability to daisy-chain via TB3. However, it supposedly supports Display Port Multi-Stream Transport (MST). BUT if you are using an Apple machine, the APPLE machine does not support (MST). It has nothing to do with the monitor not supporting it. I have not personally tested it with a Windows machine but supposedly the monitor does support MST, it is Apple that has chosen not to support it.For those of you looking to support multiple external displays, I have this monitor connected to my MacBook Pro via Thunderbolt3 and then a USB-C -> HDMI adapter connected to another external monitor and I am able to extend my display without issue for a total of 3 individual monitors. The fact that I have to plug in three usb-c cables when I sit my laptop down is not really a big deal to me -- they are easy to plug in and it only takes a second.

Great Monitor for my needs and the price is Fair
I have 3 desktops connected to Vue 27",( iMac 27" 2020, - Type-C, Dell Inspiron 620 (Windows 10) to HDMI, and Dell Optiplex 380 to DP (linux ). I purchased the monitor to extended the display on my iMac, it works great. I can also switch my display to my Windows 10 and Linux Machine on the 2nd monitor. I had to purchase an half height DisplayPort video card for my Linux PC. I brought a very good used Radeon 2GB DP 1/2 height video card for $50 buck, but prices started at $25 bucks. The resolution on the Linux machine is great. My desktops usage?; I'm an IT tech, I'm into Desktop Publishing, some photo editing, Website Design, and some Coding and Academic assignments for school. ( i don't do gaming). For the most part its perfect for what i do. I was going to purchase a 32" monitor that allowed for the type C Thunderbolt connection but selected Nixeus Vue 27" (which cost me $299.00). i like the Nixeus Vue 27". Make sure you buy the Apple Thunderbolt cable, it will not work with just any type c Cable. The only issue is switching the desktops displays. You have to take some time to figure out how it works, (It's intuitive). Also , I am using Barrier, it's a free app the allows you to use a keyboard and mouse to access multiple(3) desktops. By using Barrier i did not have to setup 2 additional keyboard/mouse pairs. (Keyboard, Video,Mouse switch). Barrier is not the greatest KVM app, but it works (It's free). There are other KVM alternatives if you are using multiple machines. There's a KVM paid version called Synergy. Logitech has several mouse/key products that allow(even wireless) display switching between computers, laptops and tablets. I was fortunate to find a video card for my Linux computer since its not common in my opinion to have a pc that has a DisplayPort., I really needed this product. So far, I am satisfied and I saved almost $300.

Pretty decent.
I got this to extend the display on my iMac 27" 2020 model. It does what it is supposed to, but about once a week the thing won't connect via USB-C. I have to reboot the iMac, disconnect the cables and then reconnect. 8/10 times that fixes it but it is SO ANNOYING. Other than that, I am pleased with the monitor.

Apple USB C cable does not work
You will need to buy a separate USB C cable that is for monitors. The ones you get with your Apple laptop do not work with this other than for charging.
