Bought for a gift and the child loved it!

I bought this for my nephew and had to buy another one… for him! I had too much fun putting it together!!! Sorry Abe.

This is a modular built similar to Lego or brick toys. Shapes are typically cubes that connect to each other.Every toy comes with a mini figure, that could be a pilot or a soldier.There are two factions: good guys vs bad guys kind of deal.It is fun for kids to build.Some models come with multiple builds, meaning you can build 3 different planes with the pieces included in the box.Once you are done building the ship there is a display stand where the ship can be put up for display.The instructions are pretty clear and easy to follow.

Overall a good enough kit for display, and some degree of play. Nice design, lots of details, and one of the few Snap Ships that can mount the included Uju Tech item and the display stand at the same time with little to no modification (just remove the chin turret).That said, it has two flaws. The first is the fragility of the tail. Even without pressing on the installed plunger pieces to drop the troop pods, the tail droops noticeably and threatens to break off with more than a slight touch. It would probably have been better to make the tail area twice as tall and not be able to drop with the push of a plunger, since pushing down the plungers tends to cause the tail to break off anyway. Not really zoomable, either; at least, not without very careful handling, which makes using the drop function risky at best.The second is its size and weight; when used on the display stand, it threatens to tip to one side or the other with no provocation other than a slightly uneven tabletop. It can be kept from tipping over with a little care, but if it's on a shaky table, expect it to try to flop on its side at even a little provocation. Unlike the Gladius, it only comes with a single mounting pylon, so using two stands turned sideways is generally not possible.That said, it's still a really cool design. Just take care when displaying it, or using the troop dropper plungers.

My son loves these snap ships and I love them WAY more than legos. He actually keeps these built versus taking the lego builds apart a few days after building them. He has a HUGE collection of snap ships and I love that I can buy 3 of the same snap ship when they are on sale for under $10 because there are multiple different builds for each one. He has dropped these, "flown" them into each other and we have had epic battles without them falling apart. He can build them all himself and loves that they come with a stand so he can put them on his dresser when he isn't playing with them.

I got this on sale from Amazon, not so much to build but to collect. The look of it intrigued me. When it arrived I wasn't disappointed. The box is large with colorful pictures of the completed kit. Perfect for displaying which is why I bought it. There may come a day that I open this kit and put it together, but right now it's part of my collection and displayed in my house and in this role it is exactly what I wanted and for such purposes I highly recommend it.

Really good snap ship the capsules holding the soldiers are really cool ship is bigger and bulkier than I originally ended up expecting got it about 2 years ago cool toy highly recommend it
