Great for surgery!
I rarely write reviews but this is an excellent product. We bought it for my wife’s tummy tuck surgery. It took 2 days to fully form the shape. My kids actually enjoyed it so much before my wife started using it. They play games together and read together on it. Sometimes they took naps in it. We all tried it and It’s quite comfy. Since my wife’s surgery on 5/9, this has been a life saver! She gets in and out without any issue! We are definitely keeping it even after my wife recovers!

Takes pressure off tailbone
Love this chair!I was nervous about ordering this due to mixed reviews mostly about it properly expanding.I had no such issues following the instructions. The cover seems sturdy enough, and soft, and fits snug enough.I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone taller than me (6 foot plus) because I feel like it’s a bit small. The only issue I have with it in general is that it is so close to the ground, and is hard to get up from. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to older folks or people with mobility issues for this reason.I have terrible tailbone issues and sitting in this chair is amazing!

giant piece of misshaped foam that company makes very difficult to return if not satisfied.
Did not fill cover. looks sloppy not like picture. , too small for my 5'11 frame. I gave 24 hours to fully expand before i placed in cover. gave another 24 hours before I sat in. leans a little to one side, when I sat inside was dumped on floor. No problem, I can return, but company requires box for return and now that it is fully expanded, will not fit in box so now I have to find a box designed to fit this unique oversized foam chair. most returns do not require box these days. Makes it very difficult

Did not quite get there, but comfortable
UPDATE: so after 48 hours, the maximum wait time according to the manual, the lounger continue to expand to what I would say is about 95% of where I expected it to be. I am much happier now than when I bought it. According to what I've read it could expand some more in the next day.As others have suggested, I kept it in a very warm environment even placed a nearby space heater blowing on the lounger for a few hours during this period. All in all, it is comfortable and I enjoy the curves and overall feel of it. It is low to the ground so if you have bad knees or bad back I would probably look somewhere else. I placed a blanket to protect the light colored cover. I watched about 20 minutes of TV laying in it and practically fell asleep which is great.Four stars, deducted one star because of the drama it takes to get it to expand.-----------------Original review:Note: first two pictures were taken more than 30 minutes in but less than 24 hours. The Zinus lounger is made entirely of memory foam. This is a very odd product. As indicated in previous reviews, you will be waiting for some time for it to fully expand to its expected size and shape. I removed the lounger immediately and it began expanding. Per the instructions, I waited 30 minutes before I put the cover on.But as indicated in some reviews after 2 hours the shape had not fully expanded. I've seen reviews that say it needs to be in a warm climate. Others say it takes six to seven hours. In the manual, if you can call it that, it says 24 to 48 hours. I've even seen in places 72 hours. What striking to me is that the light gray reviews seem to be somewhat worse than the dark gray reviews. It even looks like the dark gray is selling out faster than the light gray. I can't imagine the color would have any difference on the memory foam. There are some reviews that imply if a memory foam is stored for long period of time in its compressed state it can have problems expanding.Of course the biggest issue here is that you've paid a significant cost and you can't return the damn thing because there's no way to shrink it back down.I am less than 24 hours away and the pictures show exactly where I'm at. Height is roughly 26 (it should be 28.5) and the length is 52 (should be 59).The room it's in is over 70° warm and I've had a space heater on it for at least 12 hours. Hoping things will improve in the next 24 hours. Will update at that time.

Proportioned for small people
I love it BUT it sits very low to ground. I am 5’4”. It’s perfectly proportioned to me. My head rest at the top of the back. My knees bend right at the end of seat. I don’t think this is good for a taller person It’s very comfortable I love it

It's so comfortable!
Very easy to set up, after the 30 minutes where it sat and expanded, I put the cover on which was super easy to do. The cover material is soft and the foam is amazingly comfortable! Great for reading and putting your feet up!

Very comfy – Zipper issue unresolved.
I was hesitant to order this, as I saw quite a few reviews of it not expanding fully. I removed the sheer lining & let it expand for about 36 hours & had no issue with that. The cover it came with has two defective zippers. I contacted the company directly & they said I had to contact Amazon. I was then told I must return the chair completely in order a new one to get a new cover. Getting a new cover is a hassle. I wish working with the company directly would be of more help. Overall very comfy!
