It cuts crisp items pretty good (ex. onions, cucumber slices, bell pepper slices), not so much for tomatoes or things that can squish unless you pre-cut them just right. Nuts were not good either, they kept getting jammed in the cutter. Also just wanted to let people know that it does come apart nicely for cleaning and was easy to put back together. Love the holder that it sits in because it makes it so much easier to store than ones I have had in the past.

UPDATE - 12/14/16 - it just died on me. The blade part separated from the shaft and now it is useless. I got nine (9) months out of it. I really liked it and thought it would be around for a couple of years. I still give it a high rating for ease of cleaning but two stars for durability.Original Review - Imagine the "Slap Chop" new and improved. Yes, this would be it. Easy to clean and break apart!

I bought one of these years ago and it has held up beautifully. Just bought another to last another decade of my abuse. I use it several times a week. Great deal.

I had another chopper from another maker but the same design. The old chopper finally broke after many years. I knew I wanted another one of the same design. I was happy to be able to find it. Thank you. I am hoping to have this one for many years to come. Arla

Works great cleaning is kind of a pain

I love it!! Chopped quickly and easy to clean. I had one before and lost a piece. I was so happy to find this as I got the other as present years ago.

First time I have used it and worked very well, had no issues at all. Blades are sharp with good clean cuts, cleans up easily afterwards.

Great chopper. The nice thing about this one is that it opens so you can properly wash it. We have another that does not open and I worry about bacteria. I highly recommend purchasing.
