The material is supple and you can breathe through it easily. It does not seem to leave any marks on my face. The field of view is wide and does not get in my way at all.

This product is great for cold weather riding and summer riding. It keeps the cold off the mouth and it keeps the sun off your face. The best part is after a long day of rising you throw this in the washer and it's good as new. It also helps to keep the helmet clean and your hair looking good if you know how to slip it on. I bought two additional ones.

I wear these for sleep to protect my skin from cpap headgear. Turn them inside out, the seams can be uncomfortable on the inside.

nice, hugs the skull , but not too tight for an extra large motorcycle helmet.good for 45 degrees under my motorcycle helmet, but not for winter riding.maybe I can use this for a dust/virus mask? very thin.just got it , so I don't know how long it will last or wash.

My 9 year old used this as a ninja mask for Halloween. He loves it! It's soft and durable. Very good value for the money we paid. I would buy it again! It does go in different styles like in the picture too. I could see him using it as a ski mask too! Great deal! Served it's purpose.

I am going to have a blue light treatment on my face soon. After the treatment I cannot be in sun or near windows for 48 hours. I have to get home and I live in a place with lots of windows. Living in a dark hotel room for 48 hours does not appeal so I looked for something like a lightweight balaclava on Amazon. If Amazon doesn't have it it may not exist. I found these and ordered a pink one.This is exactly what I wanted. Lightweight, smooth, and comfortable. The top of my nose and around my eyes are exposed, but I can deal with that. It's not something I will wear after the two days are over--as far as I know, so the price is right. Very pleased to find just the right thing.

This balaclava smells pretty bad out of the plastic package but cleans up easily. The material is thin, making it easy to breath through. It feels warm enough though I imagine that if you start sweating in it, any protection from the cold would be minimal at best. Otherwise, this should provide a decent light protection from wind and cold weather.
