Had this item in my cart for a while and finally bought it for the new school year. I teach TK and my students need a lot of movement. I pull it out during indoor playtime and they love it. Easy to roll up and put away.

I had this set sent to my granddaughters, aged almost two and four. While the two year old is not really able to hop on one foot, she loves tossing the bean bag and hopping on two feet. The family has just moved into a new house, and much is not unpacked. The children are tired of staying home. The hopscotch set gives them something active to do, and I am going to suggest some little counting games that they can use with the rug. I may send a set of counting bears, or something similar. The rug, with its different colors, could be used for color sorting as well. I think that it is a great activity for children during this time, and later, as well, and it was one of the items Amazon was able to send quickly. Several things I have wanted to send to the various grandchildren have had such long shipping times, because of the corona virus crisis, that they would not arrive for a month. I guess we may still be isolated in a month, but I wanted to send something that would make them feel better now.

The quality durability and safety is number one. I know what I'll get when I buy their products. The hopscotch board is literally a runner!. Not some flimsy plastic or foam mat! It was a gift for my 3 yr old grandaughter and my daughter was super impressed. It will last for years! Winter is coming so indoor play is going to be fun for her!

My kids and I love this rug! And it’s a hit to everyone who comes to my house and asks where we got this from! The perfect addition to my children’s room. We were using at as a runner in our hallway to the kids rooms but we have moved so my son now has it in his and still obsessed! It’s great quality easy to wash! I’ve washed it once so far!

Bright, colorful and lays nice and flat with the non-skid back. Loved the extra bean bags since it was for my 3 year old grandson to play inside. He loves it and can toss the bean bag and jump over it. Mostly skips on two feet, but tries one foot. Great size and colorful. Would buy again.

Enjoy having indoor hopscotch for rainy days--but two bean bags wasn't sufficient. Melissa & Doug ought to include enough bean bags for multiple children to be able to play together. And, even if you want to purchase additional bean bags, M&D doesn't sell them separate from the play mat. Disappointing.

Great rug for a rainy day when the kids have too much energy. Since they are still both rather young and can't do a proper hopscotch (1 foot) we do feet together and feet apart and they have so much fun. They call off the colors as they land in the boxes and I will call off the numbers for them. Holding up very well for how much they have played with it. Colors are nice and bright plus the no skid on the back makes this a great purchase!

We have had this for a year now, and it still looks like new (and has had a lot of use). We bought it when our daughter just turned 2, and now she is almost 3. She still doesn't understand the concept of hopscotch, really enjoys the game "go stand on the 4! Now hop to the 10! Stand on the 2! What color is the 8?" etc. It has been a great way to reinforce number and color recognition.
