This is not 100% pure silk, it feels like it is blended with another fabric, it is ok for a practice veil, however, if you need something professional it needs to be 100% pure silk for both the colors and the movement for dance. If it is silk it is definitely not the best of quality. I am sorry I was disappointed I really wanted to love this veil because of the color which was not as bright as the pictures, I was going to return it however my nephew who is a beginner dancer loves it so I gave it to him and ordered another one from a different company that was able to provide better quality silk. Like I said it is fine for a beginner not so much for professional or on-stage performance. It also had huge static issues which can also be an indicator of the fabric issue. I gave this product 2 stars because the delivery was super fast and it was not a total loss, was able to put it to good use. Just be aware if you are used to 100% good quality silk you will definitely notice a difference. If you have nothing to compare it with like my nephew who is a beginner it should be fine. However, I would hands down chose this over a chiffon veil if I had to.

I had been looking for a good dance scarf for some time, and was dismayed by some of the reviews on other products. I needed a scarf to practice with and didn’t want to wait until a conference came up. Fortunately my teacher recommended this brand as being good quality with reasonable pricing for silk scarves.I would buy this again and I recommend these scarves.

I use this as a pillowcase by wrapping it around my pillow when I'm out of town.I also use it as a neckscarf to keep me warm.I've used it as a belt and as headwrap. I have also worn it as a sarong over my bikini during a recent boat trip. It's on the sheer side and that's exactly what I wanted. This also made a handy arm sling for my husband when he fell while we were mountain climbing.I am back to purchase several more for my friends and family members who like the one I purchased for myself.

Look at this GORGEOUS veil made by Nahari to match my costume. She picked up the orange, yellow and pink magnificently. The silk is a good quality too...no runs. I will definitely be ordering again from Nahari!

Featherweight light silk, I suppose it’s 5mm. I needed it right away and didn’t have time to wait for shipping from overseas. It was a bit smaller than expected but worked beautifully. Thank you!

These are great solids to make sure you have a veil for every color of the rainbow without breaking the bank! Traditional veil size for bellydance. Definitely lightweight, moves nicely enough.

A bit thinner/lighter weight than expected, but otherwise good. Snags easily due to thinness so won't last long.

I ordered this silk veil in "viola" and opened it to find a dark purple veil inside. The package was labelled "viola" so either a mistake was made in packaging or the colors listed on Amazon's site are not true to the actual colors. Since other people have had trouble with color matching, I believe that is the problem. Used for a bellydance class. Still the veil worked well with the color we were trying to combine in class. Beautiful and flowing. But 3 stars for inconsistency in color.
