Nix Styptic Pencil

I've been shaving for almost 20 years, but I've never heard of styptic pencils. After hearing about what they do and how they work, I decided to purchase a small one and see how it goes.I've had to use it several times, for various reasons. It's not just for sealing up nicks from shaving, but for anything that causes small cuts. I've used it; my girlfriend has used it; my nieces have used it. Everyone's impressed by how well the stypic pencil works, and I'll never shave again without one of these stashed away in my medicine cabinet.Even though this looks to be on the small side, I can't imagine using up the entire pencil in under two years--even for all the non-shaving nicks and cuts I've been sealing with it.

Nice big styptic pencil. Should last awhile. I think I would have given 5 stars if there was a plastic tube to store it in instead of just a baggie. Otherwise no complaints. I noticed the description for current version mentions a plastic vial so maybe that concern has been remedied.

I wish I'd known about these sooner. The stick immediately stops razor nicks from bleeding. It does sting a bit, but it's worth it compared to the old tp square method. I will be using these for as long as I'm shaving.

Product is fine, however this is my 5th purchase of the product and was unpleasantly surprised by the tiny ziplock baggie it came with for storage. Previous orders of the same product included a nice plastic tube with removable top for easy and clean looking placement on my counter top. This new baggie, albeit a cost-saving move by the company, is messy to use for storage and is prompting me to look for an alternative product.

If you shave with a blade and you are like me..you often nick yourself shaving. Normally, I plan it so I shave and then immediately get in the shower (sorry if too much info) and when I get out only the worst nicks are still bleeding. This is the point when the no nix pencil comes in handy. I press it against the nick for a few seconds and it's like I never nicked myself. Until I become a better shaver (probably never) I'll keep my handy styptic pencil by my side every morning and forego the giggles when I come to work with band aids all over my face. Great product, great price..what's not to love.

Not a whole lot to say, cut myself shaving earlier today, pulled this out, ran it under some water and applied. The cuts closed right up. The one thing I will say is 1 oz may not sound like much, but it is quite a lot.Short version: Great product, I highly recommend.

There are always nix while shaving. No nix helps contain the bleeding especially if you take blood thinners. I was pleased with the purchase.
