Chaga Tea (4 ounce)

This tea is the real deal. It has a little of the black outer bark of the chaga in it; at least mine did. This is the part of the chaga that has the anti-cancer properties and is also a little bitter so be aware of that. I brew mine with water (~600 - 700ml) that is just about boiling and then steep 2 tablespoons for about 10 minutes in a single cup coffee cozy that sits in the pot. The tea is very dark, almost black. You can then dilute it if you want; I drink it as is with some honey. You can reuse the chaga. It will get progressively lighter. I can usually get at least two and sometimes three brews out of one measure. When it is all done, if you are into bushcraft, you can dry it and use it as a tinder. A truly amazing mushroom and this brand is real chaga. So if you do not have white birch trees in your area this is the next best thing to harvesting your own.

this is the first chaga tea I've ever tasted so i don't have much to compare to, but i will say, this is super delicious, earthy, and really makes for a fortifying tea.

I have read a lot about the benefits of the Chaga mushroom. For this reason I decided to give this tea a try. For starters, it is a nice warming tea on a cool winters day. I brew mine for about 10 minutes using a tea steeper. I added some stevia for sweetness. It tastes very good. I love that this tea is full of antioxidants as well as vitamins K, vitamin D and Vitamin B. I have only been drinking this tea for a week now but so far I have noticed an increase in my energy. I am sure long term it will be nothing but beneficial to my health and wellbeing (as well as a tasty warming drink). So of course I jump right on the internet and purchased this. Three words, BEST DECISION EVER! Within a few days I felt more relaxed and no longer dehydrated. This Tea is packaged very nicely and in a resalable package which is very handy for keeping it fresh and smelling wonderful for months, but I love it so much it hardly lasts that long!
