Old Wood Chair
I have an old wood chair with Colson casters with a male pin 5/16" diameter by about 1.5" long. I bored out the hole in the wood to 7/16" diameter, hammered the new socket in, and put the old and replacement new casters in the hole, and it worked perfectly.

Nice product, difficult to judge size from the image although all the specifications are there..
Nice product, but unfortunately, not the right size for what I needed it for. Seems like it is well made, and it was delivered in a timely fashion. This is the only problem with purchasing things like this from Amazon or other internet stores. If it does not fit, it is not worth sending it back. I may have helped to have the picture taken with other common objects nearby to help with scale; maybe a standard pencil, or a coin, etc. I may end up using it in some other project.
