Asurion is true to their word
I ALWAYS purchase the extended warranty through Asurion, when available. I have kids and I have electronics -the two do not mix-. I purchase quite a bit of stuff from Amazon and have found Asurion to be a trusted company when protecting my purchases. I have NEVER been disappointed when filing a claim, which is around 5-6 claims to date. The price for coverage is reasonable and the claims process is simple. If Asurion cannot fix your item they refund the cost of your item (not including taxes, shipping or the cost of the insurance itself). My last claim involved a computer that only had 3 months left on the warranty. I accidentally spilled water on the keyboard and pffft, no more computer. I filed a claim, Asurion provided the return packaging and paid the shipping. They were not able to fix my computer due to the needed parts no longer being available. Within a week I was issued an Amazon gift card for the cost of the computer. You cannot go wrong with Asurion.

Easy process
Ordered the 2 year warranty for my teen daughter’s laptop. Right before the 2 years were up, I filed a claim because there were several small things going on (error message when adjusting screen brightness, keyboard key broken off, mouse touchpad clicker not working, etc). Shipping the item back to them was super easy (drop off at UPS) and within 3 days they told me they couldn’t fix it and sent me an Amazon gift card for the full value I paid for the item 2 years earlier! I was shocked at how easy the process was and how quickly I had a resolution. Just bought her a new laptop and ofc bought the Asurion 2 year warranty.

Buy Asurion insurance with your purchase because you just don't know
In February of 2024 I bought a Lenevo laptop from Amazon, and thankfully bought the Asurion insurance. In October of 2024 the laptop died. Because it was still under warranty, I first had to ship the laptop to Lenovo for repairs. The problem was not covered under their warranty. They shipped the laptop back to me. I then had to ship the laptop to Asurion. They tried but could not fix the laptop so they gave me an Amazon gift card for the value I paid for the laptop.This all took 6 weeks to complete and was a pain in the neck, but at least I got my money back! Since then I bought a HP laptop, never buying Lenovo again. I bought the Asurion insurance again as they were great to work with.

Process worked well
I had this protection program on a laptop. When it stopped working, my granddaughter called and got the repair set up. Asurion was great and kept us informed as the computer was evaluated, etc. Unfortunately they could not repair the unit, but I did get the purchase price refunded to me as soon as the work was done. Bought another laptop and another protection plan.

Do not buy insurance from Asurion
This was insurance protection for a laptop. Lap top stopped working during the coverage period. I sent for repair and in a couple of week they said they couldn't repair and reimbursing money. Wow, then the journey started. I call them, explain it for about 20-30 mins, then they apologize unnecessarily and says they messaged their whatever the other office is and asking to wait 72 hours. I call back in 3 days, have to explain from the beginning and go through the same process. This went on at least 8 times, for many weeks. When you asked for a supervisor they put you on hold and call gets dc. This was my son's school laptop and he had to cope with this. One day I was able to get hold of a supervisor, he name was Marian, and she was so helpful. She took care of it and called me back in a couple of days. They said it was a problem in their system and resolved it. Finally after several days I got my money back.This was now one off issue. I had a insurance bought from same company Asurion for my son's trumpet before. We had to send it for a repair. They kept the trumpet without returning for weeks, we had to get a loner. Again one day I was able to get hold of a rep who was kind enough to track it down.Bottom line, never ever I will buy insurance from Asurion again. This is a scam company and do not get into trouble like I did.

Customer service with great communication.
Asurion was great. Easy to return my laptop for repair. They sent a box for pkging and instructions with label to return. A 5-7 day wait and my laptop returned and working perfectly. Glad I had purchased their repair plan.
