Nova Utopia Toddler Little Boys Girls Summer Sandal Sneakers

These are very cute and appear very well made. The only issue is that they are marked a size smaller than fit. My son is a solid size 13 but when I originally ordered a size 1 for the summer in a couple of months. They were way too small so I returned the original Nova ones and ordered these in a size 2 which fits perfectly. I wish they would adjust the sizing so that you can order the correct size the first time... But with free shipping and free returns... at least the exchange was easy. I will say they appear to be very sturdy quality. The rubber toe is thick and a little flexible and the inside of the seams are smooth. There are no stitches or tags that could cause irritation to the wearer. The style of the shoe is also really cute! I refuse to put my 5 year old in open toe shoes. He's far to active these shoes look as though they will adequately flex and protect his feet while being easy to clean and breathable.

I was a little leery when I saw these sandals for the awesome price but I was really surprised!These are really great quality shoes, I would compare them to Carter's ones my other son has.The back velcro is adjustable which is great because I always buy a size up so they last longer and I could just tighten the back and they fit my son perfect.I bought the gray and lime green shoes and I do have to say that the gray is actually a lot lighter in person than in the picture, which wasn't a huge deal but I would prefer if they were the darker gray.I will be buying these again when my kids need a bigger size!

At this price point I’m very happy with the quality and style of these sandals for my 3.5 year old son. He’s in size 9-10 in everyday shoes now so I ordered these sandals in 9 to account for the no sock effect. They give him a bit of room to grow. I prefer sandals to fit smaller vs bigger so they’re more of a secure fit when kids are running and such. The Velcro closure across the top will get a lot of use with daily on/off and that’s the one part of these that is somewhat questionable quality. Again, at this price I’m fine with it.

Only giving 3 stars due to running small. My 5 y.o son wears an 11 right now and I got these in a 12 hoping they would be big and he would have room to grow for the summer. They fit him like his 11's fit. All in all, he loves them and calls them his captain America sandals and I am happy with the look and they seem to be built nice for the price.

Great shoes! Fit as expected and my kids are HARD on their shoes. My daughter is delighted with them and I anticipate they will stand up well to camp activities this summer. Low maintenance--throw them in the washer and let them air dry when they get too grubby. I would recommend this product.

My 4yr old has been wearing these sandals all spring & summer & they've held up great. We've been at the beach, in the creek, thru the mud/rain/etc & I've washed them probably 5 times. The only complaint I have is they are getting pretty stinky now, but summer is almost over so I'll most likely just throw away. For the price, I think they were worth it! I will definitely purchase a larger size for next summer.

Little one drags his right foot due to a palsy and alwways wrecks the toes of his shoes. Tried these rather than expensive Keens this summer (I have no issue w/Keens. Priced out of my budget right now) and they've lasted so well. They're still looking new, no worn out toe and I love that I can open them from the back to slide on the foot in addition to the top strap! Will buy again.

My 4 year old LOVES the color orange, so I was pretty excited when I saw these. The first time he wore them was on vacation and he said they hurt his feet (we did a lot of walking). That was in April. We live in Michigan so it didnt really get warm here until the end of May. The first warm day, I had him try these again, and he has worn them pretty much every day since. He loves them. He wears them to the park, the zoo, to the store and also wears them all day at daycare with no issues or complaints. He has 4 other different pair of sandals that are similar in style, but different colors (and brands) and he always chooses these. The one elastic string did break today, so unfortunately he can't wear the shoes anymore, because it won't stay tied and it's just a matter of time before he will trip over the string. We are very active though and always doing something and these shoes took a beating and held up really well overall. One day we went to a fossil park and he stepped in a huge puddle of mud.... the shoes were covered. I brought them home, sprayed with the house and they looked good as new. Highly recommend.
