Smells like Vick's; you can taste it in the back of your mouth when you breathe it in
On the plus side, these little bottles do help with congestion, and they have a pleasant scent. It’s not as potent as other products I’ve tried, but it’s not bad. I like that this has a flip-top lid that you can just pop open and inhale. There is one down side, though. I would very much recommend you plan on not eating for a while after you breathe this in. When I used this, it affected my ability to taste food in that it felt as though I were tasting this stuff. Given the close relationship between our senses of taste and smell, that’s not surprising, but the issue did linger for quite a while.

I use it nighty. Quite strong. Clears sinuses quickly. Smells like Nyquil + Sandalwood.
I suffer from a range of allergies and got tired of the hassle and expense of nightly decongestant sprays. When these small bottles arrived, I had a hard time thinking they could approximate the effects of Nasacort or similar products. However, to my surprise, this inhaler works just as well. Basically it is just a little bottle filled with powder and small perforations through which you inhale. The powder is so strong that, as another reviewer said, you can actually feel the sinuses clearing before lifting the seal. LOL. It smells just like Nyquil with a hint of sandalwood. So, the other ingredients are probably there to carry the scent, as opposed to influencing the smell. Given the low price of two bottles, I would choose an inhaler over a rub on cream (messy) every time- even if they worked the same. So I believe this is a good substitute for Nyquil. Lastly, if I wake up during the night it is so easy to take the bottle from my bedside and inhale rather than to smear on cream that could wake my wife. So, it is convenient as well to use.I will finish my review with a bit of trivia. Did you know Nyquil also originated from India? I think it is likely it too is based on an Ayurvedic formula. Enjoy!

Good Vicks-like scent, not as potent as another brand.
I could smell this even before I removed the foil, so you could potentially leave that on (it was easy to remove, no superglue here) but you may not get the full effect. Good list of ingredients that smell similar to Vicks. They're in a sachet so you can't really see them (at first I thought it might be a dessicant packet). It wasn't as potent in clearing up my nose as another brand I tried, which came in a glass container with the ingredients visible in all their splendor. But this is a good alternative, especially since you get two here.

Very helpful with allergy stuffiness
I was not sure what to expect with these. However, I was pleasantly surprised. These are very strong when first opened. Very strong! But it makes you want to take a big, deep breath...maybe solely via your nose.Similar to a vicks-style inhaler, these little pots have a combination of ingredients that opens up allergy-stuffed noses. You don't have to stick anything up your nose...just inhale deeply over the pot. They do weaken over time. I can't smell mine at all right now. When new, it overtakes the room. There is no way to guarantee these would work for you, but they definitely did a good job for our family. I would likely buy these again.

Not a very potent scent
I was really hoping this could help clear up my sinuses upon use, but the scent is not potent enough to do that. The scent is light and non-irritating.

Herbal inhaler for decongestion
I like the different linaments and ointments from Asia, so I was eager to try this herbal inhaler. It is a 2 pack and comes in a small round bottle which works better than the long lipstick like containers that other inhalers use. It is not as strong as the Vicks version but it also is all herbal and less menthol in scent. It works to help decongest a clogged nose and also has a calming effect on me.

Very Happy With This
This is nice & strong, helping to clear my sinuses. I normally order (or make my own) essential oil inhalers. They are the ones that are (usually) plastic tubes that are somewhat similar to the size of a tube of lip balm. You take off the cover, put it right under the nostrils & breath deep. Inside they have a little wick that is permeated with only essential oils (if you either made it or bought a decent brand). This inhaler on the other hand is a small plastic container with loose whole herbs in muslin that are infused with essential oils. The top flips up (no need to unscrew) for use. As a woman who owns & runs her own eco farm full time, this is something I absolutely plant to try to recreate at home with many of my own herbs.Overall, this is very good, almost as strong as the lip balm-ish inhalers.

Leaky packaging. Not as effective as vicks.
One of the two containers in my package was leaking because the little yellow cap has sharp plastic debris that cut through the metal seal. The box and other items within were fairly aromatic as a result. No stars knocked for that although there's a definite quality issue with the lids cutting into the foil seal. The smell has camphor as the major element with slight menthol and a eucalyptus after tone. I could not find the other ingredients in the aroma. I didn't find the aroma effective at clearing my sinuses or alleviating my headache. After a while I was bothered by the smell enough that I took everything, including the packaging and put it outside.I routinely use Vicks, tiger balm, and some camphor oil I got in Indonesia to alleviate sinus issues. This Sung Ho product is not going in my arsenal.
