Didn't work for my dog

Bought this to use on my weasy for training. DOES NOT WORK. My dog did not care about the smell. My cats on the other hand were rolling all over it. I returned it.

We have a re-homed shihtzu who will not pee in our backyard. We’ve had at least one dog ever since we’ve lived here -35 years - and she’s the only one who absolutely will not pee in our yard, so she had to be walked to do her business. After buying sand, bark , and pea gravel to encourage her to go -to no avail- ordered this item. We’ve sprayed it on pee pads, sand, bark and gravel. No go. Doesn’t work for us at all.

So our potty training started on day 1, and our pup was not into the Doggy Bathroom at all. He would rather do it on the rug or on any other surface, but the pee pads. A few days in, out of desperation, I purchased the NaturVet training aid spray. My puppy really enjoyed rolling around on the pee pad after the first few sprays. But this is when he did his first unprompted pee!I would love love to attribute some of the success to this spray because he did start consistently peeing in the potty area after using the spray. But sometimes I do wonder if it was just because he got used to us continuously bringing him to the potty area, no matter if he made a mistake or not. I recommend trying it, it'll save you a lot of cleaning work if it does work. But at the end of the day, consistent potty training regimens are the most important towards a successfully potty trained dog.

Recently moved with a 5 year old dog and had to train her to use the turf on our patio. She wouldn't pee on it until we used this spray! Now she goes right over to where we sprayed, smells it, and pees right away. On night 3 we didn't even need to spray it fresh. Great training aide and quick results.
