As human resources professional I can't recommend this book
As human resources professional I can't recommend this book. Leaders should be inspiring.... there is no room for vague sarcasm when giving an employee feedback. Some of these phrases would probably land a manager in trouble and make the situation far worse than what it is.

I love this book. It's purpose is to write evaluations on your supervisors as opposed to your supervisor's writing evaluations on his/her employees. It also has some useful information on how (as a supervisor) you can motivate, handle conflicts, discipline in private, and praise in public. It's a guide all new and experienced supervisors and managers should own.

Another great release from Patrick Alain
I came to know Patrick Alain when I bought his first book at LAX airport, which was entitled "The Leader Phrase Book". I believe that this is the second or third of his phrase books. I really like his style. I teach a Managemetn and HR class at Georgia Tech and in my management class, 50% of my students are using this book as their reference. Patrick, not only explains how to say, but he tells you what phrases to say. I believe he was the first one to come with that kind of concept. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT.For Christmas, I bought three of them from Barnes and Noble to offer them to my friends.

Another great book from Patrick Alain. Simple, to the point and it is written to be put in use and not leave us wonder what the author means... Again, Patrick has been very practical in his books and they all are written to be used immediately... This book is great especially for newly promoted managers...A guide in difficult situations for associates with people responsibilities... Great value!!
