It does what it says it does, but it's nothing special
This is a review for the Skar GCR-1 subwoofer remote knob.Seems solid enough, not many ways it could go wrong really. The RCA leads are quite short, maybe about 10 inches, so be prepared with some extras and some female/male adapters as needed depending on your setup. The knob is quite sensitive in the first 1/4 and then sloooooowly ramps up in the rest, which is a bit irritating but not the end of the world. It works, and for the price there isn't much complaining to be done. No noise from the pot or anything like that.

Excellent product!
Works great. All the way down turns the subwoofer completely off. This allowed me to turn my amp's gain to 100% and control it from the front. Very simple to install. All wires are about 1-foot long so depending on where you mount it, you will probably need a short RCA cable to go from this to your receiver. Otherwise, you will need a male-to-male adapter.

This knob works great all the way through the level
This knob works great all the way through the level, i haven't noticed a decrease in sub volume like i have with other remote level knobs. I would highly recommend this product shout out to SKAR AUDIO for always bringing their best to the table. And to the distributor for the good price well worth the money! Thanks everyone

Not just for subwoofers, adjusts line-level volume wherever you need it
This worked perfectly for allowing remote adjustment of line-level signal to amplified speakers, basically as a remote volume control. TV line out to this device, and then from this device to the amplified speakers. Used for a year in a disgusting room full of cigarette smoke, and still operates perfectly. Built like a tank.

Good and bad
The product worked very good but over the last month it’s been going in and out and today the knob finally broke

Works but too sensitive.
This is really obnoxious. The first 1/8th of a turn of the knob is very sensitive and the rest of the knob has hardly any effect. Clearly, they used a cheap linear-taper potentiometer when a logarithmic taper would have been much more appropriate. Other than the sensitivity issues, it works fine.
