For the money you can’t go wrong. Was dubious when buying but it’s a great bike compared toThe steel bike I bought for my son in Halfords for similar money, it’s miles ahead. Great looking and a good build. If you want a good cheapBike this is great - my daughter loves it.

I bought this bike because it looked like a decent buy for the price and the reviews overall seemed to say it was worthwhile. My experience, however, was not great.Assembly was a bit of a nightmare. If you routinely put together bikes then I'm sure it's a breeze but the last time I put together a bike was a few years ago and so I relied on the provided instructions. Shamefully they were generic bike installation instructions instead of anything half specific to the bike I purchased and so they didn't turn out to be that helpful at all.The seller does provide a link to a youtube video showing installation but besides the fact that it's terribly shot, it doesn't even cover the full installation. I recommend you check out the video yourself (which is on their website) before purchasing.My front wheel didn't come with the disc brake installed on it (like it showed in the video) and installing it myself wasn't an option due to being unable to unscrew the plate that needed to come off to stick the disk brake plate on, as the screws were stripped.Installing mudguards seems impossible?! I can't for the life of me figure it out and again the video/instructions weren't any help.Anyway, after a whole evening, I managed to mostly put together the bike (with no front brake or mudguards). The following day I took it for a small test ride after pumping up the tires and checking/tightening things over. With a sleep since putting it together, I had high hopes for a decent ride as I only wanted it mainly to ride a couple of miles to work and back. Disappointingly the ride was as much a let down as putting it together.The brakes were decent (or should I say the back brake), and the ride felt good even though the typical bike seat hurt after 2 minutes (but most bike seats hurt when you haven't ridden a bike in a while). The gears, however, were a shambles. They refused to change gear properly, often grinding rattling, and when they did change gear, it did not sound healthy. Additionally, this can't even be down to my own installation as the gears come pre-done when shipped.All in all, it's just a bad experience from a bad bike. Last time I bought a bike, I spent 180 on a basic mountain bike from Tesco online, and that was a pretty flawless experience, unlike this.After requesting a refund (since no reply from their customer service when I emailed them about the front wheel), I think I'll look for a bike elsewhere. Pros:- Looks nice- Good brakes- Smooth enough rideCons:- Awful instructions- Uncomfy seat- Didn't arrive with all pre-installed parts- Striped screws- Terrible gears

This is the seventh bike i have ordered online and by far was the best packed and the bike did not have 1 scratch. very good quality better than i thought , bike looks smart and feels solid , fast delivery, took 30 mins to put together not too hard , you get all the tools with the bike so no need to go get some. I use this bike everyday to get to work (2 miles each way), very reliable.

Is it suitable for me I'm 6ft

Bought this for my 16 year old son. It's been nothing but trouble since it arrived. Firstly,there was no tool included to assemble the bike (it was meant to be included!),so my husband had to go out and buy a Universal socket set...the rear mudguard fell off and got lost,then my son got a puncture....trying to replace the inner tube has been impossible! It is a large valve as opposed to standard. I have had to return 2 to different stores,as the valve is too short! The bike is not worth the money!! My son has been off it more than he's been on it!!!! Avoid!

the bike arrived earlier than expected, which is good.I've set up the bike as it should and all was working fine.On the day I rode to work, there was a noise on my brake when I used the back brake and the brake didn't work anymore.I inspected the part of this and it looked like the bolt to keep the cable in place was missing. I guess it popped out while I was breaking.Everything else is working fine.

Bike been in box in hallway for 2 months due to work now off for couple weeks play time awaits.Before starting to build bike I was abit concerned that gearing and brakes wouldn't be set up but after building bike it's all ready to go,,,,which is straight forward with alittle knowledge it took about 40 mins and all was in the box.Bike looks good and and rides well..little noise off brakes but will bed in within time of riding it.In all good buy.

This is a fantastic bike and the best birthday present I have ever had (age 47). I use it on roads here. Everyone else uses racers and punctures are common. Not for me though!What you MUST do is after assembly is have the gears and brakes correctly set up by a cycle specialist. Also apply Muc-Off Silicone Shine to the mirrored part of the fork stanchions.This is the best cycle I have ever ridden and I have been riding cycles from age of 10. Thank you.
