Nourisse All Natural 100% Pure Mineral Brush-On Powder Sunscreen Kit – in 9 Shades

I just put this on for this first time and so far I'm in love. I wanted a powder foundation with a high spf to replace my bare minerals foundation. After reading the reviews I thought this could be it. I get a pimple here and there but my main issue is redness, I have very uneven skin tone so I wanted something that would even me out while still be lightweight and good for my skin, this product hit all the marks! It is silky smooth and very lightweight. In my problem areas I simply added more powder. I added before and after photos so you can see that magic. Since this is the first day I will come back and update after using it for a while.

I received my sunscreen on time, and everything was as described: there was a jar of the sunscreen (the jar itself is pretty fancy looking!), and one small tub each of shade adjuster (lighter/darker). The sunscreen itself is great. I buff it on with a dense powder brush, and it just melts into my skin. I get pretty oily throughout the day in my t-zones and this didn't seem cakey at all, even after reapplying. However, I'm not sure if it's just my imagination, but the sunscreen seems to oxidize a bit throughout the day - it always seems a bit darker by the end of the day than when I first put it on.Also, the customer service is really great! The color of the sunscreen was too pink for me, so I contacted Cindy, the maker/owner of this sunscreen. Cindy was really awesome, and she sent me two big packets yellow color adjusting powder for free. She also actually followed up on emails to make I received the yellow powder. I do have a suggestion, and that is to make these color adjusting powders available for purchase either on Amazon or on their website. It turns out that I need quite a bit of the yellow powder for the sunscreen to match my skin tone, and I would feel really bad about asking Cindy to send me more.The only very (very) small negative thing that I found was that the jar of the sunscreen has a big lip/edge inside of the cap that traps a lot of powder, so powder would spill everywhere when I opened the cap. It gets pretty messy, but powder makeup/sunscreen will always be more messy than liquid. I've learned over the past few days that I need to tap gently on the sides (and turning the jar) while tilting it slightly to make sure all of the powder on the edge falls back into the reservoir.

I'm normally so bad at following up on writing reviews when a great product should be reviewed, but this product really motivated me to get my lazy fingers typing, because I have really bad Malasma so to cover it up, I normally have to use about 3 different concealers just to cover them and before my Malasma got so bad I only used makeup with safe, natural ingredients in them. After much searching and experimenting with natural makeup, I finally had to give in and use makeup with the crap in it that I didn't want to put on my face so I can cover those nasty spots! I love power foundation and I was about to purchase another chemical filled product from the beauty store, because I found something that has sunscreen in it and gives coverage, when I decided to check out Amazon first. I found Nourisse and it excited me that it was a Mineral foundation with an SPF of 50...WOOHOO!!! So I decided to buy it and to my wonderful surprise, it covered my Malasma beautifully when I used the spot application technique without me having to use the chemical filled crap and the best thing is I don't feel like I have layers of heavy makeup on my face! The biggest test was just last week, when I was invited to the Bahama's and normally I won't go to things that involve the sun and water, because I don't want to expose my embarrassing dark spots on my face, nor make them worse...but hey, I was being given a free trip to the Bahama's so I decided to take the chance. Every day we were on the water doing activity's and going to beaches. I had put on some layers of sunscreen and Mineral Foundation, in hopes that my spots wouldn't get worse and get exposed for everyone to see. Well, on one day with the group, the snorkel gear came out and I thought oh sh*t, I can't put my face in the water, so I said that I'm not going, but then a voice told me that I will regret not enjoying the full experience of the Bahamas, so I took a big chance and put on the snorkel mask and I went full into the water, not for a little bit, but for a long time. When I came out, I was terrified to have anyone see my face, I thought for sure that I would have splotches of makeup and dark spots showing everywhere, so I tried not to look at anyone. The first opportunity I had to find a bathroom, I made a beeline to the bathroom to see how bad my face was and to my surprise, most of my makeup was still on with no splotches and the spots weren't showing too bad, I couldn't believe it!!! Sadly, my malasma did get a little worse after spending 5 days in the ocean and sun, but I believe not as bad as they would have had I not had this kind of protection and to be honest, I don't think anything would have been able to protect me with the amount of time I was out in such strong sun and it gave me confidence to still swim without the embarrassment of those nasty spots showing too horribly bad and had I remembered that this makeup was waterproof, I wouldn't have had the anxiety of my makeup coming off that I had and just chill out more....lol! I know that this product is one that I cannot be without, so I just ordered some more and I'm so grateful for this company and to have found it...thank you :)!!!
