We Live Here Too!: Kids Talk About Good Citizenship

Our 4th/5th class used this book to help generate ideas for a presentation about citizenship. It presents the concept in an easy to understand way. Our kids rocked their presentation with the help of this book.

This book was absolutely perfect to go along with teaching my 3rd Grade Student's about belonging to a community and what it means to be a good citizen. We read a few pages out of the book each day during Social Studies and the book kept my students attention100% of the time. A definite must have for teachers and parents.

This book is for maybe 3rd graders. I thought it was for kindergartners but it is too deep. I will pass it to a 3rd grade teacher who is teaching this concept.

Used with elementary students in unit plan on citizenship. Students enjoyed and was good addition to unit.

A great, easy to understand book about how we all have responsibility to work together to make this a better place to be.

What a wonderful book! I love how this book presents real-world examples of situations that children may face daily with suggestions for positive ways to handle them. The material is presented in a thoughtful, yet humorous, way so it keeps the kids' attention. I am very excited to add this to our library's collection!
