Adjustments are easy to install and remove. Strong weight capacity--not a light weight toy. Also was able to install inside car as a clothes hanger for a trip I am taking.

My CR-V doesn't have roof rails, and I didn't want to spend a lot of money on "brand" bars. Unfortunately, magnetic ski locks I have cannot fit more than two pairs, and children's skis no longer fit inside the car. So, this season I had to find a new arrangement.Installing these bars was quite difficult, and in the process I broke one of plastic knobs (replaced it with a knob from ACE, for $3). Afterwards I drove about 700 miles with 4 pairs of skis on top of these bars (locked in Tule ski locks), in rather difficult conditions (strong winds, heavy snow, heavy rain on the way back, temperatures ranging between 3 and 59). These crossbars worked well.Their main disadvantage, apart from rather tedious fitting process and absence of any compatibility information, is that they don't have any kind of security lock. I doubt that anyone would be interested in these bars alone, but together with skis and ski locks...

This product is garbage! We purchased for a trip, put the rails and cross bars on and the knobs cracked. I asked company for replacement parts and was told no, contact amazon. The bars flew off my car, scratching my car which I only had for 2 months. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND BUY SOMETHING ELSE.

Overall this is a good product for the price when your vehicle does not have a roof rack. Traveled 1500 miles with no problem as the product stayed secured on the roof. Installing the rack, be careful you may have to use two different size brackets which are included better if two people work on the install.The noise: You will have a whistling sound when the rack in on the vehicle which can be annoying at times.
