I used a few of these to make a sanitation chamber. It only takes about 1-2 minutes for 4 of these in a small box to inactivate all single-stranded RNA viruses (such as coronavirus). These put off ozone, so keep that in mind. For my usage, the ozone is basically confined to the box though so I do not care. To make it, I got a large box, lined the inside with aluminum foil (shiny side out). I hot glued the lights to the top. I will add a timer. All in all, these were a great value considering the scarcity of these right now (April 30, 2020)

The unit works good. The power unit is pretty cheaply made. I used this unit to add uvc lighting to my air filter so I ended up taking this guy apart to wire it in. The wires, circuit and soldering is quite cheap. Considering it's price, to buy all the needed components to complete my addition would have cost 3x the price so this was well worth its cost. Overall it's a good cheap option to add uvc to any application. Caution UVC light is hazardous to your health so please avoid direct exposure. This should not be used as any type of lighting effect.

Tested using a UVC test card. Its a real UVC.Can't tell if its 13W. Appears the same as my 7W. Same size and manufacture.Label on box says 13.Hey I'm just glad its a real UVC.

I got this for my 55 gallon aquarium, home to a dozen Comets. The aquarium gets green from algae and algacide doesn’t seem to do a great job. Tried this 5w light and wow! It did take about a week to go from pea soup to crystal clear but it did exactly as it should. I did filter (I just used scraps of fabric and hand washed them) changes daily to remove all the dead algae. Highly recommend this great little UV sterilizer light.

I bought it to control the algae problem on my aquarium, i even only used it twice and it drastically decreased the algae on my tank.The only thing i didn't like was that it comes in other language so it doesn't deeply explains how to use it.Overall, great product. Just don't put it with your fish or it will kill them. You have to put it in the filter

Customer service is second to none. Light works perfect. When I plugged it in I could even smell it working. My water is healthier than it has ever been. Highly recommend it.

First time in 10 years the water in my 50 gallon tank turned green after I tried different fish food. Changed the water and filter pads only good for a few days and the floating algae came back again. I Googled the problem and decided to try the UV light option. I ordered the 7W model since it is much shorter than the 11W and can fit inside my Tetra Whisper filter. With the VU light on the murky water was not so murky after two days. The water eventually turned crystal clear after 5 days. I now have the UV light on a timer so it only run a few hours a day. It has been a few weeks and the water is still crystal clear. It works!!

Make sure your fish can't see the light from this, there is a warning in the box, I'm just afraid someone might not read it. They probably won't read this either though so probably going to have some blind fish out there. For the good fish husbands though I recommend this product, keeps my fish tank clear as the glass it is in.

I'm VERY pleased with the results!!! For less than 20$ I was able to fix my algae bloom problem! AND the fact that it's small enough to conceal in the back of the tank (white part) where the filter and heater are is PERFECT!)

The fish tank was clear in 3 days , I am very happy It is a good solution to kill the green
