Everything was wrapped and packed well. Looks like antiqued brass, but good, sturdy, quality material. Price is decent, too.

We bought two of the rain chains and put one on each side of the front of house. The are fun to watch when it rains and they add a lot of character to appearance of the house.

Used the product to connect to gutters on a bath house to stop water from streaming to ground. Have a rain barrel planter under the chains. Dripping of water onto plants great way to keep them watered.

These really are cute. I bought a few sets since I had a long way to get to the ground and they were not terribly hard to combine in order to reach all the way down. Their installation was not too hard, I ordered the gutter attachment so they would hang nicely and it was simple to hang the rain chains from it. They look nice and seem to be working.However, I have had a couple of issues. First, be careful when combining the chains if you need to like I did. It can be very easy to scratch the finish. I used painter's tape wrapped around my pliers in order to prevent damage. Second, I am disappointed that after only a short time I have already seen some rust forming on the underside of a few of the umbrellas. This was a real bummer since I was hoping for the patina copper gets when in the elements and I was not expecting to see rust at all. I'm not sure how these will age, if the rust worsens or becomes visible from the outside they will need to be replaced which is obviously not ideal. While I love how cute these are I am not thrilled with the rust that has already formed in such a short time. These have only been hanging outside for a little over a month. We will see how they age but I will probably need to replace them sooner rather than later.

This was a total mess. The water comes down and pours out everywhere like a flood hitting an umbrella. Maybe I should have realized that it doesn’t work like the ones that get filled up and then spread over the cup to the next one because, well, they’re umbrellas. So if your goal is to reduce water everywhere are to be at all helpful with rain, this isn’t it. Splashed everyone going by.

Bought this as an Easter gift for my daughter & family. She’s always loved these but this one was the most reasonable that I could afford to give her.
