Occidental Leather5002 LG 2-Inch Thick Leather Work Belt, Large

Great quality, the brand has been around long enough to earn its top end reputation. SIZING INFO: Im a pretty slender dude, 140lb 6'1'' and I wear a 30'' waist in jeans. I ordered a size up from what I thought I should get (bought LG instead of MD) and it fits perfect with jeans and a t-shirt or even a hoodie on. But with a coat, its almost all the way maxed out. Come middle of winter when I break the bibs out again, Im probably going to regret not getting the XL. My recommendation...get 2 or even 3 sizes bigger than you think you need. Even if you only work in pants/tshirt and never have to bundle up, Id still go atleast 1 size bigger than you think. If you work outside in the winter I'd recommend 2 or 3 sizes bigger than you think depending on how much extra clothing you plan on wearing. Just remember, unlike a normal belt, a leather tool belt can never be too big. (drill new holes and either tuck the excess behind your toolbag like a belt loop, or cut some excess off...)

After 8 months of use this belt is as solid as the first day I wore it. Very thick and rigid, with an excellent buckle and solid stitching- this belt will likely last for years. I purchased another one, but haven’t even taken it out of the box as the first one is in great shape. I believe they are made in the USA.

I have went through several other companies looking for a good belt that checks all the boxes even including carhartt to no luck. Super thick and well put together leather, solid snaps and super tough buckle. You’re wasting your money buying any other belt.

Very thick, very durable. I'm an ironworking apprentice and this belt will definitely last through my apprentieship if not my whole damn career. It's stiff out of the box but that can be remedied with solid conditioning oil followed by liquid leather conditioner.

This seems as well make a belt as many a more expensive dressier belt. It's comfortable to wear all day (I do take it off during breaks when I sit down), and I believe it will last. That said, I wish it had a second belt keeper. It's sized like clothes (that is, it seems to be generous.) I have about a 36 or 37 inch waist right now and bought a large to fit over my shirt and pants. It started off on the third notch. By the second day I was on the last notch with a bit of sag. I will need to punch more holes. Because there is so much extra belt and no keeper, the end gets in the way. The keeper that is there will not accommodate folding the end back behind the kept section of belt. Am hoping that their loop for a tape measure will act as a second keeper. (Will update after I try it out.) But that is a $15 fix for a $2 problem.

As with most Occidental products this belt exceeds expectations. That is why for years I keep coming back to this USA company.Note: If you use this for your tool pouch it's great but check your belt loop size before you buy it. It is too tall for my blue jean belt loops. However, it works great with my work pants.It is also too tall for my Otter Box phone case clip to fit around. Same with my KeyBack Key reel. They WILL slide off.A 1.75 or 1-3/4-inch tall belt have the same issue.I recommend Occidentals 1.5" belt if you carry these items.

I bought the 2” for my work pants, I’m in my oxy tool belt all day and this belt is great if you don’t like your pants being pushed down all day by your tool belt. I’m definitely buying the 1 1/2”.

Awesome belt! Really high quality. High price but well worth it if you use a tool belt every day. Definitely not priced for the weekendworrier. I work construction and wear it everyday. It is holding up really well so far. Been through every Home Depot/lowes brands. I have multiple peices by occidental love everyone of them!!
