I compared dozens of comparable models, and this one is great AND one of the cheapest I found on Amazon.PROS: Adjustable (telescopic) length, whereas each section twist-locks into place. The tripod legs fold up and are easily grip-able with decent-sized hands — for use as a selfie stick or one-armed camera boom for vlogging. Camera / phone mount is removable and holds nicely; the thread taps being common for most accessory mount types (a huge plus for this model).It sets up at just over 5 ft. tall (including the camera of phone mounted on top). It's reasonably sturdy on flat surfaces. Nice, black finish. Hey? I've even used it at its smallest size (w/ tripod extended) - propped up on my desktop with my webcam for video calls. Comes with a cool travel bag / case. LOTS of ways to use this baby!CONS: Some of the locking points are hard to "untwist" once everything is pulled out and securely locked in extended-height format. You have to be careful not to jam them (sometimes) to collapse them back to size. And as some others commented, you have to be careful about placement, when you stand it upright. The tripod legs are adequate, but not super-long, as on stands for pro photography shooting. Top-heavy? Only if you try to mount a heavy camera or phone and set it up on a non-flat surface or outside in the wind. Otherwise, negligible.

This is a really versatile tool if you are traveling and often switching between a smart phone and DSLR camera. The DSLR makes the tripod a bit top-heavy, but if you are careful, it does work. Just don’t use your DSLR if the tripod is on an uneven surface or it is windy (we have had one incident where it tipped over). As a selfie stick it does get a bit heavy if you are holding it out a ways away from you for a long time (like waiting for everyone to look at the camera...!). The Bluetooth remote is super easy to use for pictures and videos and the charge lasts all day and beyond! One issue we had was that one of our kids unscrewed the tripod legs adjuster knob and once it was out, we have not been able to screw it back in so now the tripod legs slide around but it still stands, just not as sturdy as before. (Not sure why they would make an adjuster screw that doesn’t go back in?) We took this to Europe recently and used it to take many, many, family pictures with an iPhone and DSLR and it worked really well. It’s fairly light and doesn’t take up much room, so perfect for traveling!

I wasn't expecting much when I ordered it, I just needed a tripod stand for amateur photos/videos. I didn't want to deal with a tripod that had legs of different lengths. I like how the legs fan out evenly when you open it. It was easy to unfold and figure out how to adjust everything. I'm impressed with everything from the remote to the adjustable possibilities. It holds my XR very well.The one downside is that It can sway if you lightly tap it or if a hard wind blows. It is to be expected because it's a lightweight, thin, low bearing device.If you're a professional or want high quality, I would go with something else. But this device is great for the price.

For $25 this product has been amazing to capture moments while still getting to experience/ be a part of the moment. I am a SAHM that wished to be in more photos and this has helped me to achieve that.I do wish I could activate the video option with the remote. As far as I can tell, I can only use for still picture taking.It is VERY lightweight which I thought might effect its durability, but my kids (2, 4, 6) have moved it around not so gently with no damage/issues caused.I used this at an end of the year program my daughter performed in and it was quite nice to be able to setup in a desired location and return to my seat even though I manually had to start the recording (video) on my iPhone. I would purchase again if something went faulty with mine and recommend to any friends looking for a similar product.

It can be setup in tripod mode in less than 30 seconds.The remote has good range.The mount for the phone holds securely.The twist lock feature can be a bit wonky to work with; however, it is not difficult to tell when it is secure.Pairing took a couple of attempts before it connected but once it did, it immediately connects when you turn the remote on.The remote placement is excellent for selfie mode and is easily removed for tripod mode.The only concern is using it in tripod mode in winds of 15+ mph.We have used it with a Oneplus 6T and iPhone XR.

I was nervous about purchasing it but am SOOO glad I did! I like the stand because of the large number of activities it can be used in. I used it to take pictures of my staff and myself at work. As well as my husband and I for holiday photos and it did GREAT! It's easy to operate and a great quality!I am hopeful this stand will last me for years to come. I think it is great quality so far! However, I can't say 5 stars because I just recently purchased and only used it twice.It also comes with a cute little case. I couldn't figure out how to link the Bluetooth remote to my phone but I'm sure I just need to read the manual again. Overall GREAT buy! Definitely worth $20 for the various angles and heights it can do.

The remote was always hit and miss on pairing, but I have had it 6 months, and now it will no longer pair with anything, it can't even be detected. The tripod is ok, breaks down into something light and portable. It will blow around in the wind as it isn't heavy enough to counter wind. The adapter to put your cell phone on it, is sturdy and we'll made. My only real complaint is the remote that is dead in under a year.

This worked fine, only thing I didn't like about it was that it was not easy to keep the pole extended. You needed to turn it in one direction to lock the pole in extended position. It was hard to extend it and turn the pole and keep each piece in place, it was very easy to unlock it and it took a lot of messing with to keep it in the spot you wanted it to be. Other than that it worked well

I bought this tripod in order to use my new iPhone 11 to record my daughter's school performance. I was sitting at the back of the school theatre, and set up the tripod in front of me.Pros:- Excellent height. This tripod extends quite high, allowing you the flexibility to get above most obstacles to get a clear view of the action.- Phone mount works great. As I said, I have a brand-new iPhone 11, so I was a bit weary to put it's life into the hands of an untested product, but the grip of the mount was perfect and allowed me to keep my case on my phone.- Twist-lock mechanism of this tripod is great. It takes a bit of getting used to, but it's far simpler and faster than having individual tightening bolts for each length of the stand.Cons (areas for improvement):- Tilt of the phone mount. The phone mount allows you to tilt your phone backwards and forwards to help you get the right angle for your shot; however there are set notches/angles that you need to use. It would have been better, in my opinion, to keep this smooth (no notches), and simply beefed up the tightening mechanism to be able to support the weight of the phone at any angle. I ran into this problem when trying to adjust my phone's angle to properly capture the stage. In my case it worked out mostly ok, but I would have liked to have adjusted it to a bit more finely precisioned angle.- A little wobbly at full height. As I'm sure is to be expected, depending on the weight of your phone, if you extend the tripod to it's full height, there is a bit of wobble. Now, in a controlled environment with no air movement, and very little traffic, you should be able to keep it fairly sturdy and avoid any major movements that anti-shake technology can't compensate for - but if you bump the unit, be prepared to need to gently take hold of it to stop it from swaying.- Camera Shutter Remote - This is a fantastic idea, and all in all works well. The only limitation is that the remote goes to sleep, and requires you to first click the button to wake it up - wait for the bluetooth connection, and then click it again to take a picture and/or stop or resume video recording. On paper this doesn't seem like such a big deal, but when you're trying to capture the action (or a concert) at a moment's notice, it can mean the difference between getting the shot and not.Overall I recommend this tripod if you need to use your smartphone to capture general pictures and video where 100% absolute stability is not required. Again, it performs quite well, but if you need to make sure it doesn't move at all you may want to look elsewhere.Disclaimer: This review is of a product I chose, and purchsed myself. This just barely fits my XR iPhone which is 2.89 inches wide without a case protector. I had a bit of a hard time with it. I had to take off my rubber phone protector case to get it to fit. It just barely fits safely for the screw nut to tighten the bracket over my iPhone. Most iPhones are 2.89 wide like mine.phoneFor the money it is okay. Super lightweight. Don't forget to turn to the tiny diagram left to unlock the height and right to lock each height. Start with the bottom and work your way up. To extend each level you turn to unlock so it will slide up out of each. Don't forget to turn each level to lock it, so each level doesn't collapse. The top is the thinnest tube extender.

Para comenzar el control remoto es excelente brinda una gran comodidad para la toma de fotos.En segundo lugar bien posicionado el tripié tiene una buena estabilidad, lo que no me gustó mucho es el sistema telescópico de este modelo, se me hace bastante complicado estar girando para poder alargar la altura, en modelos anteriores funcionaba perfecto con un broche, definitivamente para mí es un desacierto el nuevo sistema de alargar el tripié, por otro lado el implementar un sujetador para el disparador es bastante útil.En resumen es un muy buen producto solo el detalle telescópico que es más incómodo.Los materiales del producto si ven se sienten resistentes.
