Seems far more durable than any plastic model, and for the same price...
Found this for nearly the same price as many low quality plastic fuel filters, and this one has replaceable filters and gaskets! The nipple on this filter is larger than the fuel pump nipple which was also rated at 1/4in. I believe this filters nipple was closer to 1/4in in actuality, though without a caliper to check. I'm also using this for diesel in a space heater which was not in it's specifications, but it should function although without providing water separation.

Great riding mower replacement
Love these even for my riding mower. Flow is fantastic for my 23 HP Briggs Intek. These are similar to what I used to run on my old 70's trucks under the hood etc. Hose fitment is perfect as expected.

Easy to install.
As a vintage car owner, I like to monitor fuel flow. This type of filter allows me to see fuel as it being delivered. If any impurities are present, I can address the situation quicker with the ability to see through the glass shell of the filter.
