With a recent change from a car with a charger port in the nose to one with the port near the rear, we discovered our current cable too short. Rather than replace the charger we decided to give this a try.We are very happy we did.This is a well-constructed and sturdy cable with tight fitting end pieces. Since we are using it as an extension cord, we knew the connections would be exposed to our Oregon rains so they needed to be good. They are! The cable smoothly unwinds out to be used and coils neatly to go back onto the hangar. There has never been a charging incident where it did not fully seat on the first try and give us a complete reliable charge.

This is my brand spanking new review - The cable works great so far. It attaches crisply and nicely to the home cable, which is too short to reach out of my garage. The cable has a substantial feel and does not appear to be cheaply made. I've seen no charging degradation on either of my two plug-in vehicles when using this cable.I'm very pleased, was pleased with the fast shipping. If things go south, I'll update.

The receptacle is at the back end of the Tesla so I needed a good extension. It works beautifully and is very robust!

This is an Excellent Charging Cable Extension Cord for a level 2. Charges my 2017 BMW i3 in about 6 hours.
