Up close such as when this blanket is sitting on your lap, it's very difficult to actually see the design; you see instead the lines of yarn employed... Then step back a few feet and -- stunning!!!!!! This is exactly as the site's picture.I've hung 2 designs from this company on my wall, they're so gorgeous and calming, and this one I used to cover a huge, old, unused (but beloved) TV.It gets a 4 out of 5 for softness because almost nothing is like microfiber velvet .... but this blanket is still thick, soft, and warm.

This is the third tapestry I have bought from these guys. I love them all. I hung one, the other two I am using for furniture throws. You can't go wrong with these beautiful pieces. The price is cheap for what you get. Look up how they weave these tapestries, it is fascinating, and they are made right here in the good old USA.

This throw is perfect to snuggle with by the fire.....very well made. This is a pretty throw.....well made! Perfect gift!
