- A ROMCOM IN THE MAKING. Date Night is an expansion deck for Pitchstorm: a party game that puts you in the position of an unprepared writer pitching movies to the world's worst executives. Writers have to pitch their romantic comedy idea, and figure out a way to incorporate the random notes thrown by the executives on the spot.
- CHEESY, CLICHE, SAPPY, OR HILARIOUS? Each of the rivalring writers has to draw 3 character cards OR 3 plot cards. The he or she has to draw from the opposite deck, and choose which card from his hand can work best for the other half. New Date Night deck characters include: "TWO BEST FRIENDS IN LOVE WITH THE SAME PERSON", and Plots include: "RUNS INTO THEIR HIGH SCHOOL SWEETHEART ON A COUPLES RETREAT." The writer will then have to pitch to the studio exec how the movie goes within the time limit!
- SO SILLY IT COULD ACTUALLY WORK. The executive picks three note cards at the start. While the character and plot cards may be fun to pitch a story for, the executive notes are sure to make things more interesting ("Let's set this in Jane Austen times.. Ladies 18-35 love those dresses!") The exec team/player decides which movie is hitting the big screen and earning a point; the true masterpiece despite the curveballs! The one with the most points wins.

A Fantastic Send-Up of a Tricky Genre
Pitchstorm strikes again with this fun expansion. Though a lot of the cards feel a bit more "softball" than a lot of the other expansions, when combined with the base game or especially the Creature Feature expansion, they can lead to some hilarious combinations. A must-have addition to the game!
