The two plastic 'grabbers' extend far beyond your hand, so you don't have to kneel. The grabbers grab a HUGE amount of leaves. So, if you have a pile of leaves and want to move them into a bag, this will make that task easily 5-6 times faster than by hand or awkwardly using a rake. There is slight digging into your wrists but it is a minor annoyance.The plastic does feel somewhat on the flimsy side. The one caveat is that you have to be somewhat gentle with it - for example I broke one of these easily by trying to use the claws to push down on the leaves in the bag to compress the volume. A large crack formed across the grabber and made it almost unusable. That said, since getting another pair and avoiding that mistake, the claws have held very well for at least 7-8 uses so far where I vigorously used them. As long as you use them in the intended purpose, I believe the slight flimsiness is not an issue.

BEST PRODUCT IVE BOUGHT ALL YEAR!!!! I don’t know how anyone has leaves and not at least one set of these to scoop leaves! It scoops huge piles all at once and fits them right into the bags without many leaves dropping, if any. 5 times faster than by hand and they even rake together the pile as it scatters. Can’t rave enough!! The only thing I’d add was a little curve or a piece if padding where your wrist or forearm hits. If it’s a very warm day and you’re not wearing a long sleeve shirt, it’s a bit tender but not a big deal. Love these scoopers!

I buy a lot of junk and recycle my purchases to trash. However, this works and saves the back. Great for leaves and shrub trimmings especially the rose bushes. Good design.

great tool to collect the leaves fast into buckets or bags with big openings. It also rakes up the end of the pile easily, so I don't need to switch back to the rakes. The only downside is the top is not padded so after a long use or wet leaves lifts, I have a small bruise on my upper arm, as it presses in when lifting.

This is a great product for raking leaves. It makes the job faster and easier. I will never go back to the old way of raking leaves.

Worked easier than expected and made yard clean up much easier this year!

I was using a couple pizza pans for picking up my leaves previously, wish I could have invented these, I would be a millionaire many times over. I can literally pick up a half of a 30 gallon trash can of leaves with one scoop using these. Then I use a bucket to compact them into my trash cans, add more leaves, compact, compact, compact and to the curb for pick up.

Works way better than the old way - trash can lids, holding rakes by the base, etc. However after a few minute the hard plastic is hard on my wrists. Need to find some way to add padding to the part that rests against the wrists.

These grabbers are superb; they are strong and they allow me to collect the piles and piles of leaves that I rake up each year from the 6 oak trees (and others) in my garden. I highly recommend them. Together with a great leaf rake these are far superior and more effective than using a leaf blower.

Tell you what, they are ok but my only quibble is that you can buy the same thing from Wilko for the fraction of the price (a quarter of the price actually) and they are bigger and more sturdy.

Very efficient and effective way of picking up piles of leaves and dropping them into a bin. Decent quality product, simple, light, easy to use. I expect them to last for years.

Useful tool, only had a short while so cannot comment on longevity.

These are a great design and perfect for the collection of fallen leaves - good design and I'm pleased with purchase -quick delivery too which was a bonus!
