I did not expect them to be so low profile. It was much more difficult to clean the channel area where they stick to then I had anticipated. I had to get a clean rag, warm water with Pine-Sol in a small container and a butter knife to use to clean the channel properly. I would take the dampened rag fold over the knife and drag it back and forth in the channel many times, it kept coming out black. I finally felt it was clean enough so I used a rag with clean warm water to rinse the channel then dried it with a dry rag. Then after that I cleaned it with multiple alcohol swabs(I had some of my own) waited for it to dry completely then followed the directions by pulling the tape off both ends and peeling the tape back 2" on the top piece, putting it in place per the directions and then peeling the remaining tape from the top piece, pushing it on the channel tightly then rolling my windows up. I worry about the adhesion to the channel but at least I know I cleaned mine above and beyond what was asked of me. Instructions say NO automatic car washes! So we will have to wash the car in the stalls from now on. I will update here if anything bad or unexpected comes up.

Fit is good, could use some improvement. The double sided tape is put on too close to the inside edge of the lip which causes it to have spots where it doesn't touch the window channel. This could be corrected by putting the tape on the outside edge of the lip or using tape that is twice as wide to cover the whole lip. There are a couple spots on the edge that were poorly cut, but we're easily fixed with a file.Overall, worth the money to be able to leave the windows open a bit even in the rain.

Fit and seems to work pretty well after a week of varied use. 4 stars only because the way its designed it does snag the window a little when rolling up and doesn't allow the window to go completely up without pressing the button a few times to ensure complete rolling up. Does it's job and seems pretty solid. Would recommend, but advise that you really mash it against the track to make sure your window won't be affected by it. Might become less of a problem over time, but has not yet.

I really like these and was debating between 4 and 5 stars. I am not including this into the rating but Amazon has this marked as not working with the 2007 Ford Focus, but if you go to the manufacturer's website they say they work for the '07.First off I love the way these look, very stream lined.They do not stick out, and look factory installed.They also work exactly as intended.So they reason for the 4 stars is that they do sometimes make a horrible plastic stuck to glass squeal/screech for about half a second when opening the windows once in a while.The only other thing I would note is that I needed to clean the inside track a lot more than was noted in the instructions, and I do not think I cleaned on one side well enough because it did not stick as well there. This can be fixed by cleaning better and new tape can be used if needed.

I bought the car new in 2005 and wanted to put these on since then I'm happy that I could find them still at Amazon. I like that I can crack the windows on my car now especially in the summer in Texas. The in channel feature makes them look sleeker on the car. They do have the AVS logo on them,the picture does not show that. They were easy to install made easier by the help of my son. He helped by rolling the window up while I removed the tape slowly from the shade. If you follow the instructions there should not be an issue. The alcohol pads to clean channel of window were not sufficient enough only because of age of my car, 11 years of build up caused me to get my own alcohol and cotton swabs. I'm very happy with my purchase and am now waiting on my wife's set for her car from Amazon now, in channel of course. Buy this product and follow instructions you will not be disappointed.

Make sure you clean up the grime with a rag until it comes out clean before you use the alcohol pad, usually there’s a lot of built up stuff in there

I gave these 3 stars only because they didn’t smooth the rough cut edges otherwise would have given 5 had to take some fine sandpaper and do it myself and took them forever to ship them

They look great, and do what they're meant to do, I'd give a 5 star, but they are a hair too think which makes it a little to tight of a fit with the window rolled up.
