Northside Men's Phoenix Sandal

I was a long time birkenstock wearer, but the soles always wore out long before the rest of the sandal - generally, a year or less. Many years back, it was not hard to find a place that would resole birkenstocks for $15. When the store near me stopped doing that, they said that it was due to birkenstock making it harder for independents to get the material for that. For a long time, I stopped wearing them - $80 is too much for a sandal that wears out in a year or less. In recent years, I started finding similar alternative brands. The soles wore out in a similar time, but the price was not far from the cost to resole my originals. Comfort varied though. These Northsides have a comfort that matches the originals and great price as well. Other brands have missed on the comfort. These hit the mark. Definitely recommend.

Needed to replace my son's sandals even though it was an off brand. No complaints they were a perfect fit.

These are a very nice alternative to Birks. They're comfortable and look great. The materials seem to be well stitched and the metal components are strong enough to withstand some gentle tugging just don't force them too hard. They fit about like I expected. I wear size 10 1/2 and bought 11's. The 11's work I just have to slide my arch and adjust the straps to make my foot work with the molded arch in the sole. All around a good buy for those of us who like the look of Birks but aren't willing to shell out $$$ for hipster brand names.

The aesthetics of this sandal are great. They fit a little smaller than the label. My real beef is with the sole! It is type hardened fiber that does NOT hold-up. They fell apart after only a week of mild to moderate walking. It stinks because this would otherwise be a great sandle. I didnt expect super high quality at $15 but I expected to get a summer season out of them not a week.

I had been wearing the name brand sandals for several years and loved everything but the price.. I bought these because they were 1/5th the price. They look to be well made, but i noticed as soon as i tried them on they were a little bit smaller than the others. I held them up to the others and found them to be about 1/2 inch shorter and 1/4 inch narrower. I have been wearing them a little and i think due to the way the cork soles mold to your feet they may reshape enough that i can use them but may be slow process. Also comparing to name brands the cork bed is slightly thinner so may not wear as long. But at one 5th the price i cannot complain. Overall seems well made but wish they made 1/2 size larger but 13 is the biggest they showed.

Fist off the shipping on these was ultra fast, I ordered these on the 15th got them on the 18th and they were shipped from WA state to southeast TX without prime. Size was perfect, I wear mens size 11 and ordered 11's and the fit is just right. I had a pair of Birkenstock sandals for years and decided to give these a try, the cork and rubber sole on these look identical to the Birkenstock's, The straps/sides are more like swede leather where as the Birkenstock's were a stiffer leather, the buckles look identical other then the name stamped in the Birkenstock's and both brands have 4 buckle adjustment holes in the straps. Overall these should be great sandals and the price is about 1/4 of the Birkenstock's. Highly recommend and hope this help's others.

They are hard as rooks, and the tip of the sandal tip where the toes are, are very hard, if your toes slip over the tip edge hurts your toes. Needs to be even with the rest of the shoe..They aren't very comfortable, hard on the feet. The look of them are ok, and quality is ok, but needs to be more cushion and fix the toe tip of shoe, wouldn't buy again unless those issues where fix.

A good sandal, comfortable to wear if you do not want to pay Birkenstock prices.

Son algo incómodas ya que la suela no es pareja tiene bordes que lastiman la planta del pie si no se acomoda bien

These slippers are heavy duty, they are solid and firm.Only downside it took me about a year to get used to them, as they are not cushioned.But heck, thats why you're here? You need un-cushioned slippers
