Brother Walking Foot
This walking foot works great for my Brother 5055 sewing machine. Originally I had some universal foot on it and it didn't work as well. Found on Amazon what was compatible with my machine and I have had no problems making a quilt. Easy to put on and take off. Glides easily over the layers of fabric (make sure you have the correct needle). The seam guide attachment is a plus. So far, so good.

Easy to use & effective
I've been sewing for 7 years but stuck with your typical cotton, but I came across a really pretty knit I wanted to make something with and realized how unequipt I was for handling a knit! Everything I know is self taught and from the internet, which led me to this product. There are so many different types of walking feet, but I have a Brother machine and thought it would be best to use a product from the same brand.It was a little tricky to install at first (I've never used anything than a normal foot on my machine) but after installation it was a breeze! The knit was very lightweight and VERY stretchy, and this walking foot really did the job. Love how it turned out, and how easy it was to switch to my normal foot again!

This really helps feed layered materials
I sew boat canvas, and sometimes it's hard to feed the material evenly. Am considering buying a walking foot machine, but then I saw these, and ordered one. It works! Happy with the results.This isn't going to replace a professional walking foot machine, but it does improve my existing machine noticeably. DEFINITELY worth the few bucks it cost. I see no down side to keeping it on my machine.

good quality
I am pretty certain that this is not a genuine Brother part (despite the name on the box), but the quality is good. It's easy to attach to my machine and has worked well for me through three or four projects already. It does a nice job of keeping my Sew Lush fabric from creeping and stretching while sewing. You do need to slow down while sewing with a walking foot, but it's worth the extra time to get a great result.

This is exactly the same walking door that came with my Brother sewing machine, which I had worn out after 8 years of quilting with it.
