I purchased this to save some money, instead of buying the real name-brand DYMO tape and I got less than what I paid for... The tape is thinner and doesn't hold in the DYMO embosser machine, thus making it unable to feed through like it's supposed to. The actual embossment comes out well, but now I have to manually feed the tape in and manually control the spacing between letters for a machine that I bought to make it automatic... what a FAIL.After I use this up, I'm only purchasing REAL DYMO TAPE. It saves time.

We were really looking forward to getting this pack of label tapes. My son is currently obsessed with labeling things (doors, remotes, toys, notebooks...). But these don’t stick to anything! He has started sticking his labels on paper then cutting out the paper and using tape to stick it to his and his sisters bedroom door. He’s a trooper and will make the best of it, but I’m really disappointed for him. This definitely did not work as expected. They were easy to install in the label maker and we were delighted with the colors of the tapes. We just expected it to work as described.

It's a bit thinner than the original, therefore, the embossing is not quite as marked as the others, but it works.They have great customer service though.

I was given an old hand labeler and wanted to label ball glass jars for storage of all sorts of grains, flours, and pantry items. I stopped at Staples and was told that the plastic tape for Dymo labelers was no longer available, and was directed to the new mini labeling printers. So I bought one (and it wasn't cheap, and neither was the labeling tape). I later found that Amazon did carry the old school plastic tape for the hand punch gun labelers. I returned the expensive printer to Staples and ordered the Pristar Durable Plastic 3D Embossing Tape. It works great, came in great colors, and was not expensive. I love the old-school look of the labels on the jars. The older way is the better way in my opinion, and I am very happy with this product!

I ordered this embossing tape back in April, 2020... I recently started using this type in my Dymo Label maker. The adhesive is not effective at all... I correctly prepared the surface before applying the tape. It will not stay attached to anything I have attempted to use and falls off within minutes. You'll need some super glue or other adhesive to use this tape. But that is not a practical alternative.

While the tapes work perfectly in my DYMO embossing tool, with the imprinting fine, the real issue is the adhesive is of poor quality and does not stick for more than a couple of hours before releasing and falling-off on the floor. I was making labels to stick to cabinets identifying what items were being stored in them. I had actual DYMO tapes but had run-out, and went to Amazon to see if I could get more tapes. DYMO only listed 3/8 inch tapes and not any 1/2 inch. I needed 1/2 inch which was not easy to find. The DYMO tapes I made are still hanging-on to the rest of the cabinets that I labeled and those have been hanging-up for two months without falling-off.

I loved these when I was a kid so I was happy to find these refills available. These were easy to use and did the job. I have an original Dymo label maker that I found at a thrift shop and a new reproduction. These work in both and I like the variety of colors.I have 2 newer electronic label makers that I use I the office and for home organization. I use these labels more for scrabbooking and art journaling. These would also be good for outdoor use because they are water resistant

These tapes are a good value from this seller. They work well in my old Dymo labeling tool.
