I paid a lot more on the 10-pack with another Amazon seller and I could just kick myself. These are the same identical clips and they sure beat pricking yourself with pins. They hold up great, not one has broken since I have had them, and that’s 10 hours of everyday use for months now.

These little clips were purchased as a gift for a friend who sews, since I know sewing clips can be useful for a lot of things, like making hemming go by faster, not leaving needle holes in fabrics, and being a stronger grip on slippery or stretchy fabrics.I paid about $7 for 100 of a standard size, which is a pretty decent value! That's about 7 cents per clip.Overall, they work pretty great! They have a nice, strong hold but aren't super hard to open. My friend told me after using them that they really helped make hemming a skirt go by in a flash.The only major downside was that some of the clips made a terrible snapping noise the first time they were opened and this subsequently lead to a few of the clips cracking and breaking (since they're plastic with a little piece of metal to provide the tension of a clip). So, they're not perfectly sturdy, but with a batch of 100, a few breakages isn't the worst thing. I'd just be mindful how hard you squeeze them open.Also, I did count them all and sort them just to see how the color ratio went, and I can say that they're pretty randomly distributed. The batch I got had a lot of pinks and orange, for example. But, for me and my friend, the color ratios weren't important features.Overall, not a bad buy! Definitely won't replace sewing pins entirely, since the clips can't do everything pins can, but they're certainly a good alternative for a lot of instances while sewing.They're somewhat small (as you can tell by the measurements) so I wouldn't try to use these as chip bag clips or anything, but they could also work nicely to hold a few papers, hold up photos on those clothing line display things, or be helpful while crafting.

Overall I really liked the product. They are easy to use and so far hold the fabrics I've been sewing pretty tightly. So I use them to hold two pieces of fabric together right before I sew them together. They are a life saver and have made the construction of my garments easier. Unlike pins they don't fall out, stick me, are easier to maneuver when putting two pieces together, and I don't forget to take them out while sewing(to big to forget. The clips are a great addition to my sew notions and I would buy them again. I gave them four stars because the first two I used I broke. If anymore break then it will be a manufacturer error(meaning they're cheat). Will update later for final review of product.

The single most useful sewing tool that I have ever used. Nice, strong, small clip. Also useful for securing opened bags of snacks!

Great clips to help with all of your sewing needs. They come in a variety of nice colors. They are perfect to hold between 2 up to about 10 layers depending how thick the fabric is you are using. I think I have broken one of these trying to force toooo much in the clip at one time! Whoops , my fault. They also make these in a large size

Thank goodness I can finally sew without constantly poking my fingers with the pins and bleeding on my projects. haha. These are strong and sturdy. So easy to use and the colors are pretty :)

It is so much nicer to use these to hold the binding as you finish a quilt that I have recommended them to everyone I know.
