I have a Samsung galaxy S9 and keep it in a two-piece case. Every time I accelerate too quickly the phone falls out of this holder onto the floor. It would probably work better without the case or with a thinner phone as the arms do not seem to grab around the sides completely. The charging function works fine when it stay in the holder. After being frustrated for three months of use, I plan on gluing some extensions on the arms or getting a new charger altogether.Edit: I've continued using this for a few months and my Samsung galaxy S9 phone keeps falling out of it when I hit the gas. I've decided to replace it with a different brand.

Any time I have to slam on my breaks or go up a steep hill my phone just flys out at me hitting the windshield wipers every single time. Slow charging. My phone gets so hot I can hardly touch it from the charger itself. Don't waste the money.

I have an iPhone Xs with an Otterbox case. The first day I had it installed the two rubber pieces fell out. The heat was 70-80 deg outside and I could not get them to stay in. There needs to be better glue - SUGGESTION. My phone does charge fine but since I have the mount on the dash, it sits in the sun and therefor the phone and charger sit in the sun while driving. I find the phone gets really hot while magnetically charging and also yesterday was the first time my phone reported over heat. I did also glue on some side pieces to the front of the arms so it holds in the phone from the front because there is no front holding and the pressure from the side pieces is not constant spring pressure like other models. It does recognize the phone and close the side arms automatically. There is a side sensor that can be easily pressed which releases the arms. My car does charge the USB while off so I don't have to worry about taking my phone out before I shut off the car. I would expect most cars keep power to the cigarette lighter when the ignition is not turned on.

I can't say for sure how well the charging works because my S10 with Otterbox won't stay clamped in place. as soon as I hit a bump my phone falls out. the suction power is great, the mount stays put.

This only lasted on my window for about 3 weeks before the sticky on the back fell off , now it's no good.

I really enjoy this it fits great in my 98 blazer suv... And charges my phone fast so i can have my phone charging and my husbands charging at same time.. Editorially if your running late and u need your phone to be charged.. I really recommend this.

Worst thing ever kept dropping my phone everytime
