I ordered a second ring because I grew to like this ring a lot and wanted a backup. Raised my review from 3 to 4 stars, as a result. See below for my earlier comments. I couldn't believe the condition of the new ring. There is a mold error which created a large blob of metal on the side of the ring. The detail on that side is very poor, too. This is a case of zero quality control or willful shipment of a defective product. I don't understand how this could have been missed. Very disappointed. Going to return it and see if I get a good one next time. 1 star is too high for this product based on its condition. See pictures.Later:Returning this ring is a complete pain in the ass. It has to either be taken to a UPS office (Amazon says this is most convenient for me! The UPS office is ten miles from my home.) or picked up at my home by UPS and an adult has to be there for UPS to pick it up. The other option is that I pay for the return shipping, if I want to use a different carrier. I'd give this ring a -5 star, if I could. It looks like I am going to be inconvenienced due to the negligence of the manufacturer and everyone who had a chance to inspect this ring before I got it. I am not happyReplacement arrived within two days and appearance is as it should be but it had a sharp burr on the inside that I had to remove. If you like this type of ring, it is returnable and replaceable, maybe until you get a good one. I notice another storefront is now selling an identical ring, in gold and silver finish. Probably the same seller creating a new storefront due to the negative feedback.Earlier reviews:Fit is very good. Detail is good for the price. It is an attractive ring. I would not have bought the ring if the description had said it is hollow, not solid backed, though. I like a heavy, substantial ring and this is not either. For the price, it is not worth returning. Nice to not worry about banging it around and losing or damaging a stone and the detail is deep enough that I don't think the black will wear off too badly. It has worn off somewhat where my middle finger rubs against it, but I had to look closely to see that.

I am a woman but thought the mens ring would look stylish. I was in the Army after college in the 80's and loved my 4 years of service! The ring really surprised me! It has nice detailed Army emblem design. Solid made. It is heavier of course than my regular rings. All my friends complimented it! I don't wear it every day. Bought 3 rings, 2 were gifts to fellow soldiers. Well worth the money! True to size.

Purchased as a gift for my husband (Disabled American Vet, was in Army, also served during Desert Shield/ Desert Storm). He loves it. Does not turn his finger green. Good size for a man. Not to big, not to small. Great price.

I spent 6 years active duty, during the tail end of the Vietnam war at this point in my life I love anything that will bring back the memories of my time is service, this ring among so many other things, such as my dog tags that I can pass on to my grandson

Looks nice and for the price, you can't see a big difference in quality than the gold one, only if you take the time and observe in very short distance.

It fits well and is comfortable to wear. I am an Army Vietnam Era veteran and will wear this with pride.

It IS stainless steel. But the design isn't as precise as advertised. Still accurate though. I wear it proudly. HOOAH!

Very nice Army ring. Enjoy this better than those with stones which I have a tendency to chip..would recommend.
