The piston seal has a lot of stiction. once it starts moving it is free but takes a bit of force to break the O-ring into moving. Hard to get a smooth action. Ramp pressure up and nothing happens then it moves quickly. Won't be a problem if running higher pressures into the piston (50+ PSI does fine), just when trying to work with low pressures to get low forces does the stiction come into play. If you want smooth force at 5-10 PSI pressures this isn't the one for you. Quality is good for the price. Not junk, just not a good choice for low pressures. I'm keeping it, pretty sure I will find a use for it later.

Right out of the package I couldn't budge the rod....AT ALL. Took cylinder apart and rod moves fine. Eventually worked out that when the top cap was tightened even moderately the most forward part of the cylinder body was pushing against the rod causing it to bind so hard that the rod would not move. Took out the forward o-ring and used a circular file to take some material off the lip. Reassembled and now I can move it with my hand when the top cap is tightened. Tolerances suck on this to the point of malfunction. +1 star because I eventually did get it working. Attached pic is the rod opening I had to file.

Just as expected. Good quality, and the dimensions are pretty much right on.

Works good for my application... making my lowlow go up n down with no problem... I’m pushing 250 psi so far n it’s still holding... had modify a bit to mount it right

Arrived on time and everything was good.

Works ok. Leaks air quite a bit from piston in one position. But ok in other. I don’t recall if extended or retracted position leaked. The ports were ok, it was the piston that was leaking.
