I just finished putting these up around my yard to detour the hawks from trying to take my chickens and ducks. Im excited to see if we spot less hawks now that they are on my trees. Very pretty design as well. The only thing I think I will change is to reinforce them on the trees with a zip tie as I think the thin elastic band will break with the wind and the sun over time.

New tenant in apartment and several pigeons were hanging around on my balconies daily as a neighbor puts food out for them (terrible!). My cat's constant monitoring of them thru windows did nothing...the pigeons just stared back unconcerned. Hung 6 reflectors on each of the 2 balconies and have not seen a pigeon since...I also sprayed peppermint and citronella oil sprays. A great combo to deter them so far!

I hung three of these up on the corners of my house. They seemed to work, keeping a gila woodpecker off of my house (the dumbest bird in the desert). They only lasted about a week though before the elastic loops broke. I repaired them one by one with fishing line and washers. The elastic probably made them move more, but they won't last. The last one I repaired had already faded, or the chrome had worn off. The other's didn't seem to have the issue.

I got these to try to cut down on the amount of birds in our yard. They were making a mess on our patio.They seem to be working. It has cut down on the number of birds.

Easy installation. Birds stay away from the squirrels food, exactly what we wanted to happen!

These actually work. Had a problematic bird that insisted on nesting above the front door. It worked it's way around bird spikes and other mounted objects. Hung a couple of these these and it never came back. They've been in place since mid-summer and continue to work. Only downside is the elastic used to hold the rods wears quickly and breaks. Just replaced the elastic band with string.

These are plastic. That's my fault for not reading the listing well for expecting otherwise. I don't love the elastics used to hang them, so I replaced them with fishing line. Good product so far, it's been a couple days and the birds have stayed away.
