Superwinch 2202863 ATV Mounting Kit; Polaris

The mounting kit was OK. The instructions were average at best. I used this kit with a Superwinch LT3000ATV on a Polaris 600 Sportsman 2004 and the instructions state that you attach the fairleads bracket to the main bracket with two round head locking bolts, however, if you use these bolts, they go very close to the cable, within 1/8", if I would have used that bolt in that location the cable certainly would have hit the bolts. I did not use the bolts but instead used the four bolts to fasten the winch directly to the main bracket and the fairlead bracket all as one unit installed. This worked fine, but was not mentioned or pictured in the instructions.

This bracket lined right up in the front hole of my sportsman 700. I haven’t used it much yet but my only complaint so far is there seems to be quite a bit of flex in the plate I’m not really sure how this is going to affect it in the long run. But otherwise clean looking product holes lined up and nice paint.

I bought this with the Superwinch lt2000. It fits well, but really sticks out in front of the unit. The mount plate is so long that the winch is just about completely exposed, about 10 inches in front of the atv. Calling them now to see if they offer a shorter one.Easy installation though, just way too long. If they could cut 8 inches off the plate and move the bolt holes back, it would be perfect.2004 Polaris Sportsman 400Alex...

Bolted right on without modification. Picture was a little misleading. The fairlead roller (cable guide) does NOT come with this kit. I had to purchase it seperately. Odd thing is that the top bracket that the roller mounts to does come with this kit. Anyways it worked. On the 03 you have to pull the front rack and bumper off not to big of deal though.

MAKE SURE YOU BUY THE RIGHT BRACKET! What a bitch to install an ATV winch yourself. I'm and experienced mechanic on all kinds of power equipment. LET A SHOP DO IT FOR YOU! its worth the money

Had to bore holes to get them to lineup on my '08 Sportsman 800.I run a Moose 60" plow and figured this along with the LT3000 winch would be a perfect match. The bracket is now bent/bowing under the weight of the plow when it's raised. It's cracked the plastic below the mount.This setup would work well with straight pulls only. The bottom needs to be reinforced to prevent the bowing or Superwinch needs to state this bracket is not rated for plows.

Very pleased!! I spent some time looking into mounts for my Polaris Sportsman 450. I wanted it to mount in the bumper like factory. Several I looked at did not. This went right in!! Took the bumper off and it bolted right up with the included brackets. It sticks out with the winch exactly how it should!! Great product and fast delivery!!

Fit perfectly on my 2008 Polaris X2. Beefy, heavy duty mounting plate. There's simply no give in this bad boy! Top notch quality and exactly what you'd expect from Superwinch! Do yourself a favor and don't think twice, just BUY IT!
