They will serve the purpose for which I bought them...jewelry. I didn't realize that the red stripe is actually either a sticker or some sort of latex product that is lining a shallow channel inset within the rubber band. I expected the red ring of color to be no different than the rest of the material. I assume that this ring will eventually either peel or crack. But, I did get three and only plan to wear one at a time, but not more than two. So, I have a reserve or two.

Fantastic tribute to our fire fighters!!! I'm a big guy and ordered the largest size...they are still a bit tight but for most people it'll fit fine...great product and quick delivery!!!
