Great quality and priced well
I have used more puppy pads than I can count over the past 10 years. We had a diabetic dog, a dog with a bladder issue, a cat with a bladder issue, and a cat who doesn't like to use the litter box. Right now, we use 10 pads a day I would guess. We typically use Sergeant's Yippee Skippy Doggie Training Pads, 100-Count . Here is a comparison between Sergeant's and AllMax (and these are all for the 22" x 23" sizes):Sergeant's 100 pads = $0.23 cents per pad.Allmax 100 pads = $.29 cents a pad (==>purple box<==)Allmax 100 pads = $.20 cents a pad (==>blue box<==)Sergeant's 150 pads = NOT AVAILABLE (they don't make this size pad-count boxes)Allmax 150 pads = $.26 cents a pad (==>purple box<==)Allmax 150 pads = $.25 cents a pad (==>blue box<==)Note: The only difference I can see in the two colors is that the purple says it is more "advanced." I don't really see the different in use them - and I have both purple and blue 100-count boxes.Quality comparison:>> Sergeant's are very thin, the liquid leaks over the edge sometimes, and they do no neutralize the smell.>> Allmax is very sturdy, they hold a lot of liquid (my cat sometimes uses them twice), they do not shred (when the cat claws at them), and the smell is 100% neutralized. The price difference is so small that I will be buying the Allmax. (Note: At the time I wrote this review, they were out of stock on all pad counts except the Allmax 100-count purple box.)

Latest version of these pads are terrible
--- Updated review November 27th, 2016:I have been buying these pads for years and previously they have been great quality, thick and absorbent. However the latest "update" of this product feels like a complete bait and switch - there is an all too obvious difference in everything from the packaging to the product itself. When I recently ordered this product I did not check reviews since I thought I could trust it to be consistent with the past two years, however now that I do check recent reviews they universally seem to be having the same experience: radically different packaging and absolutely terrible product quality. This is not the same product at all. The backing which used to be blue is now white, it is much thinner, and most of all there is a film on top of the pad that completely prevents any liquid from absorbing. Instead now when my dog tries to pee, it sits there in a nasty pool for hours, not absorbing at all - completely disgusting. If this is what I wanted from a pee pad, I could achieve the same effect by putting down some plastic wrap and it would be a lot cheaper too.I'm not sure if it's just the 150-count boxes that have this egregious problem but regardless I will not be buying anything else from Allmax ever again after this complete betrayal of customer expectations and loyalty. Just terrible.--- Original review from November 2nd, 2014:Love these pee pads! Best I've tried, hands down! They don't rip or tear, don't leak, and are very thick. You can definitely tell the difference from regular pads; the quality is very obvious. The price is awesome - at least when I bought this, it came out to be the same price per pad as my previous brand, but for better quality, so this is an awesome deal!I use these with a pee pad holder and it's working great!

Dissapointed
I've bought these pads ever since my pup was born 2 years ago and never had a problem with it. My last order completely changed my opinion about the pads. I noticed the packaging was not the same as the photo shown. Also the color of the pads were no longer blue and white like I expected. The pads were all white and definitely not the same quality I was used to.I was extremely disappointed with this product and I am not quite sure if I would order these pads again. Wondering if anyone had the same issue I did and can recommend another brand.

Not really happy
I bought these because of the reviews. I have a Rottie puppy that is home alone all day. She's learning but is still too young to go all day. I cannot understand why the floor is ALWAYS soaked under these pads. She goes on them with no problem. I thought I might be putting them down upside down and reversed them. I tried pulling the thin covering off of the absorbent pad and still the floor is as wet as it would be without the pad! These are not as good as the Dollar General brand I bought - and I have a box of 150! One of the few things I have bought from Amazon I am not happy with. The price was good but not worth it if the floor is still a mess every day when I get home. And I checked - she is really going potty on the pads. The liquid simply goes all the way through. At least I have her on the kitchen tile instead of my hardwoods.

can't hold the goods
Allmax advanced are the second brand of pads I've used. First was wee-wee pads. The wee wee pads seemed to work well but my puppy is a bad aimer so I wanted to try another brand with better leak proof edges. The quilted pattern goes to the very edge on allmax which helps slightly to contain the pee. A few gripes with this brand though. I put a pad out every morning and then check it later afternoon. *every* time the pee spot has seeped through the blue bottom and makes a mess on the floor and all under the pad. My dog also loves to shred these up from time to time but your mileage may vary. I won't be using this brand again.

Best Puppy Pad Used to Date
We have a mini poodle who needs/expects potty pads left for her when she's home alone and at night. Over the years I have tried nearly every brand and find these superior to most. Absorbent, good size, less prone to tracking. I prefer them to the Allmax "blue box" version, too. However, I do admit to confusion over pricing; I used to use the blue box until I found these "premium" ones were actually priced lower. Today I ordered the 50/box because the price was substantially cheaper than the 150/box size (which makes no sense); last time I ordered the bigger size. Doesn't really matter to me, as a prime customer I care more about unit pricing than shipping. But I do suggest everyone check prices for the various sizes since they seem to vary significantly from time to time.
