Worked like a charm!
My monitor was shutting off randomly, had noise and fuzz in the image while warming up, and did not have a working menu. All of these issues were fixed with this kit!Pros: All of the necessary capacitors were included in the kit, and they matched the originals (as far as micro farads) perfectly. There were some extra goodies included like some extra solder, solder wick, and alcohol pads.Cons: This job would certainly have been impossible with only the materials presented in this kit. In addition to the obvious soldering gun, you will also need much more solder and solder wick. I am okay with this shortcoming of the kit given it's price and amazing results.Neutral: It took quite a while to desolder the old capacitors and clean out the holes in the PCB. The entire job took about 3.5 hours (with most of the time spent cleaning out the holes). I would recommend you purchase a very small drill bit which you can hand spin to clean out the holes in the board. Trying to get all of the solder out of the holes with just the wick was frustratingly slow.

kinda so so
when I did this they where had to get the old ones out , only tryed one out of 3 of the bords I have but I did get some more flux and other soder to help me get them out , I also bought the power supply capacitors as well and they have my screens working but they still flash some times due to this chip not working.Anyway I may change my post after trying them again. so far they have been a pain.

Kit worked exactly as described, fixed my monitor
The iF281D is a great monitor and to replace it now would be much more than I originally paid for it due to changes in the LCD market. Mine was beginning to go dark when coming out of energy saving mode, and taking longer and longer to get the screen to remain on without blinking or just staying dark. After some internet research, I pulled the two boards and was disappointed to see that none of my capacitors were bulging/leaking. I decided to go for it anyway after reading about which components were most likely to cause my monitor's issue.I planned on replacing all of the capacitors, but had a really hard time melting the solder on my board to remove the old ones. My 60 watt iron was heating up the board but the solder was very stubborn. Anyway I eventually got the 3 largest caps out and soldering the new ones in was much easier than removing the old ones. Got the monitor back together and was pleasantly surprised to find that the monitor was fixed. If you can take your monitor apart to get to the boards, then you're likely skilled enough to tackle this kind of repair. I'm pretty handy, but I have never done an electronics project before and it was my first time soldering/desoldering. The video tutorials are great, but hopefully your old solder will give up sooner than mine did- getting those things out was a pain. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking at replacing an aging but great monitor.

It didn't work and the flashing continued.

Perfect as described!
Excellent pack for a fairly cheap price! Good quality caps that should last a long time! Ordered up this pack after my fixing the Power board failed and my monitor's screen would go off but the power button would stay lit blue. Replaced all caps on the board and my monitors back to working perfect! Again, great pack. Comes with everything the main board and your soldering requirements need. Thanks LCalternatives!

The repair kit worked perfectly, now my monitor is like new again.
After 5 years of continuous use my 28 inch I-INC monitor started to flicker badly and the screen would shimmer after powering up for a couple of minutes. I purchased this kit, reviewed the online tutorial, and within 90 minutes had things back together and working like new. This is an excellent service and I will definitely be back in the future for more kits. Like most people I had largely been of the opinion that modern electronics are not worth the cost of repairing. However, with the increasing availability of parts and instructions on the internet I have had great success in repairing all sorts of electronics and appliances that until recently I would have considered disposable, such as cell phones, lap tops, appliances and now LCD monitors. I strongly recommend trying to fix these sorts of things yourself as it is far more economical than replacement.

No frills, package deal.
If you don't feel like finding out exactly what the specs are on all the capacitors on your LCD power board just get this kit.I was scouring forums trying to find the correct specs, and amounts. I was getting conflicting numbers and there was just too much info to keep track of.Found this kit that has everything you need minus soldering iron.Make sure you print of a picture of the board before you remove capacitors and take note of what goes where.I made a plan of attack: Take pictures, draw a "capacitor map" of the locations and specifications of each capacitor, then I made sure to remove them and replace them in a logical order so that I didn't make mistakes or create a difficult work environment ( such as: having to solder a small cap between two big caps ect.)Just take your times, have a well ventilated work space, don't rush, and maybe even invest in a multi-meter to make sure you have good solder connections.

Good kit, Excellant company
Kit was complete and exactly as described. In my case after following directions it was obvious my problem was not capacitors. They accepted product back to my surprise. They even offered tips even though they had a no sale. First class outfit.
