This is hot garbage at its best
I bought these in the hopes of extending the reception on my wireless cameras outside did not do anything but make it worse now I had this antenna on the outside in the line of sight of a another camera which going to Cascade the signal from that one to the other one connected to it around the corner of a house and he couldn't even get a signal how terrible is that once I put the original antenna the camera got a reception better than this hot garbage do not buy these ever again there's no excuse for the antenna not to pick up a signal from a line of sight and the other camera was only like 60 feet away

It didnt seem to boost our wifi to our cameras at all

I can't give this item a 1 star review because the antenna technically works - it transmits signal. But it does a pretty bad job of it though. I replaced a short wifi antenna with this one and no matter how or where I placed the antennas I couldn't get even half of the transmission speed compared to my default plastic antenna. Even leaving the new antennas right where the old antenna was resulted in a speed drop. Can't really say if the range was extended if the connection cannot sustain any decent throughput - it's the same as having a weak connection really.

Works great for those hard to reach places!
I don’t know why this got so many bad reviews. I bought this for my surveillance cameras for my barn which is really far away with thick walls and metal roofing. In addition the antennas that came with my cameras were terrible quality and really awkward to work around while installing the cameras. I can now get 3 bars and watch live stream video; previously I was getting one bar that would intermittently transmit a single still frame. No complaints here!

Same as original antenna.
I can see no difference between the original antenna and this antenna. No extra distance or signal strength.
