Final Update: This company finally gave in and refunded my money and sent me a bogus address to mail the product back to. I paid to have it shipped back and it was returned to sender. They asked me to remove the negative review but why would I do that and screw other buyers over and help a company from a China 🇨🇳 screw over more good Americans. Sorry China you lose again!Update: Company is garbage, they won't return my emails and its radio silence. Broken when I got it, still won't work and there customer service is non existent!Recieved this beautiful piece of art and function. Followed instructions to the letter. Tried lighting it and nothing. Can't get it to light at all. Have tried several things to get it to work but nothing. I like its concept and its build quality but the ignition system is garbage. There is an audible click on the gas cylinder and when a flame is held to it, nothing. Not even an attempt to ignite. Not sure if there is an issue or a design flaw. For the money i think it could be a lot better!

I cannot rate its performance or durability as it arrived damaged and one propeller was improperly assembled and cross threaded. I was unable to upload any pics here. I had to request a refund. It is truly beautiful and I have seen them run on you_tube but mine won't.The two true build flaws are that the burner assembly is only fixed to the base with a single screw...very bad and the 16 connecting rods are super wimpy. I very seriously question its durability with such thin and loose fitting connecting rods. It also has tremendous internal (parasitic) friction which will use up a great deal of the power produced by the burners and increase the rate of engine wear.It is beautiful to display though so I plan to reorder a replacement.

I disliked needing to tighted all the screws on the base to secure engine, and tanks firmly. Other than that, love the engine model.

I received the Sterling Engine as a Christmas present, followed the instructions and ran the engine several times. On the last time I tried to operate the engine it would not function. I found that one of the cylinders had seized preventing the engine from operating. I notified Peleus Tech, via Amazon, of the problem with pictures and narrative. My solution was for them to either repair, replace or refund the cost of the engine. Their proposal was to send me repair parts (after the Chinese Spring Festival), I do not believe I have the tools or the skill to make the repairs.

This thing is a piece of junk! It ran for about 30 seconds before siezing up. Since they recomend cleaning with alcohol, I tried that. Alcohol causes the fuel tanks to break down and fracture from the internal pressure. I now have a $300.00 paperweight after 1 day of use. I had to replace a burner on the first run. Luckily, they include 5 replacements in the box. Doesn't appear that a return is possible. DON'T BUY ONE OF THESE!

I have been enamored with the Stirling cycle engine for decades, possess a solar powered single cylinder engine that is fascinating and this axial cylinder engine really fits as an expansion to my first demonstrator. These models exhibit real forward thinking physics and engineering, much more than just a toy that runs.

The fuel system cannot deliver enough fuel to heat the burners to make it run. You're lucky if the burners stay lit much less heat up the engine.
